"like" :leaf: Like!!!!!!!

Yeah i agree, i post on alot of threads and when people like what i said i can return to that thread easily from the like interface to see what they said and if they have another question i can answer it. Now i find myself not following up on peoples threads and they probably get lost in forum history unanswered

The official word is that the Like button wont be coming back any time in the foreseeable future. It was a system resource drain, and a security bugged addon that was probably the source of RIU losing almost two months worth of posts. The system resources and security problems are two nails in the coffins. Sorry. We cant risk losing months of posts just so people can "like" instead of "rep" or "reply"....... :(

Liking is supporting someones comment so others can know what to believe. Its not about arguing or fighting
i understand that, im in favor of a like button. But not in favor of the like and dislike button like youtube and other sites.. but yeah it would be kool but then again i rather see a reply other then a simple like click.. with a reply you always get an opinion and advices. Thats what make RIU so helpful.

Just my opinion dude not an argument ..:weed:

Thanks for that post. It explains a lot. A lot of people are still nervous about fdd2blk's bust and then the site being jacked. The site coming back but missing that option added some to some peoples fears that something was wrong.

Anytime, glad to clear it up.

Yea, fdd's bust sucked, but that was an isolated issue unrelated to rollitup.org itself, he was just a prominent figure here so it got everyones attention. The site being hacked later, while funny in timing, was hacked by some weird political party who redirected people to their website. It wasnt usernames and passwords hacked (as if they arent encrypted already anyway) or any data compromised (what data? shits public anyway), just more of an annoyance factor than anything else.
