Craic Jingle, seeds havent broke the surface yet and i tought i would have had me tent yesterday, so this is just a quick fix with wat i had lying around the house, hopefully they wil be goin into tent early next week if it ever arrives under a 250wMh. air temp in the dome is 28, cube are around the 25. painting not an option as it a timber wardrobe and im renting, they surely be alright for the couple of days?

Hope everyone has a great Paddys day! Keep it green!

Last night I harvested my MI5, looks like over an Oz anyway, cant wait for it to dry so I can start smoking it and see what kind of yield I got. Grew for 9 weeks from seed. On my last 5g of Fruit Automatic so the plan is to try make that last as long as possible. Also the Spicy White Devil has about a week or two left, vegged for 6 weeks and on wk 7 of flower at the moment.

if it only for a few days i whip it out and just leave it as is with the wardrope walls

from wikipedia: The reflectivity of bright aluminium foil is 88% while dull embossed foil is about 80%

from azom.com: Reflects approximately 98% of radiant heat and light.

a lot of stoners quote some guy who made a reference "that one time" on "that one site" as the reflective quality being around 55%. others will say it's around 70%.

My advice though........just spring for the mylar. The visual difference alone is worth the investment and it has a proven reflective range.

As a side note. Jingle is right to worry about hot spots because everyone always refers to them, but . . .. .. . . .it's highly unlikely that you will have enough light in your space to cause actual hot spots. I've heard some guys say that you shouldn't spray the leaves with water when your lights are on because the water droplets can act like tiny lenses and cause burnt spots on your plant. Really? So when there is a rain shower and the sun comes out. THE SUN comes out. THE BRIGHT ASS SUN! comes out, then these guys are telling me that those water droplets are causing billions of little burns all over the plants and trees? Come on! I call bullshit and with that said, there's no way that somebody is causing "Hot Spots" in their grow rooms. The only plant burns come from nutrients or being too close to a light bulb.

So I'm not dissing Jingle's advice as it's what all of us hear and so all of us believe but sometimes that chain needs to be broken. Anyways........ramble, ramble, ramble, ramble. Peace.

Wouldn't say the foil would cause too much hot spots with cfl... Hid is a diffrent story..

Anyway ordered a seed on the 6 th and its still not arrived... Gonna have to wait till Tuesday and take it from there...

Took a quick peek at my girls yesterday and they've all bent in towards each other coz of the bud..
seriosly need to support them and tonight wouldn't be the night to do it as the chances are I'll need supporting if Wales winthe slam..!

Happy paddys day fellow growers

cheers lads, the space there in is 2ft square, 2 x 18w cfls hanging about 14" over top of blocks, i germinated 3 ice cream seeds 2 years ago in kitchen paper in the hotpress then planted them in soil and they were in a wardrobe covered in tin foil with 4 cfls for about 6 weeks and eventually i moved them under a velux window and they grew to be 7 and a half feet tall but i only got 1 oz of dryish bud. i didnt know anything about it back then and used the foil cause i knew it was reflective, i still dont know very much, but cant wait to learn as i go. goin to chance leaving the foil til the tent comes. hopefully i wil c some sign of life in the next few days.
dipping the arse of rockwool into me ph 5.5 water everyday for 4 seconds,is this enough?
Happy Paddy,s day lads.
