all i know is that the greenhouse Jack Herer is not the same. Rokerij and Bulldog also carry the Greenhouse Jack herer. it may be an ok strain but its absolutely NOT the original Jack herer. Its an argued thing about its genetics... some say its for sure an excepted fact that its a hybrid of Northen lights, Skunk, and Haze, making it similar to Super Silver Haze but a tad different. Others have said they think its a four way cross that includes Marley's Collie, like seedmine's youtube video says that.
there was even an article in a high times once about how its argued amongst even the elite breeders what the "true" genes of Jack are.
the Sensi seedbank is certainly the original. even the Sensi Jack Flash is excepted as a high level strain usually. true Jack seeds are VERY VERY expensive my friend. the reg seeds from Sensi are like $200+. thats crazy IMO. there are a ton of hybrids out there with the real jack in them. also there is alot of Jack copycats too, one of the best and most popular is Nirvana's Jock Horror. other companies mock Jack using the exact same "jack herer" label like sensi's too. so dont be fooled, only Sensi is gonna be able to provide u the REAL jack.

Let me STRESS that this is RUMOR, but they say sensi seedbank has taken a reduction in quality over the past couple of years as well.
I cant speak of it from personal experience, only what I have been told by a few others. Mothers getting old and dying off and strains arent the originals is what is being said.
I would check into the Sannie as well personally.

Sensi absolutely sucks. Take it from someone who pissed two bills down the drain on their NL #1. Nothing but tiny white beans, horrible germ rate(50%), and incredibly stretchy and piss poor yielding plants. High was A+++ though from the one I chopped early.

unlucky, i feel your pain man. i too want an original JH, but dont want to pay ~$225 for a 10 pack, especially when as Althor (i think) said, there are rumors that the quality has taken a dive. i have heard the same rumors in different places, but i havent grown any sensi gear to make comparisons between their old stuff and their current stuff.
but i mean for that much money i could get two more packs of GGG gear.
it's like, 10 Burgundy and 10 Grapestomper, or roll the dice on 10 JH from Sensi

If your looking for some true Jack Herer, Sensi seeds has the best as far as I'm concerned but its a great strain all around. One of the top 16 medical strains (per Danny Danko). it's true the mothers die off. it's an annual plant, and it's a miracle that they can keep them alive for decades. Serious seeds had "new and improved" versions of AK47 and Kali Mist around the year 2000. What really happened was a bust. They may have gotten improved yield, but they lost the original genetics. Even the cup winning genes were a lucky selection from a pack of seeds. To find THE jack herer genotype is unrealistic, tbh.If you want original shiva skunk x haze (skunk1/Northern lights5 x Haze) 50% haze...then you want mr nice seeds. Neville is the guy who created NL5 AND Haze. iirc Super silver haze is the same lineage as jack herer...albeit with different parents, and different selection for traits. Then there's national health service (nl5/haze x skunk) which is 25% haze. It depends on what you desire most from jack herer - hazey or indica high, flavour, etc. hth
