Your high school Civics teacher done you wrong. But you should know better, "and to the Republic, for which it stands." What's that, Republic? Stupid pledge, we're a fucking democracy!

i never had a "civics" teacher and i never went to "high school" it was "secondary school" and i think the class would have been "politics" for meYour high school Civics teacher done you wrong. It's the way he's going about it that makes it sneaky. It's an underhanded trick that is going to backfire. The whole process of nominating the GOP candidate revolves around collecting delegates, its not some sneaky trick................................
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_polli never had a "civics" teacher and i never went to "high school" it was "secondary school" and i think the class would have been "politics" for me
but anyway i'm still trying to get an answer on why are you even bothering with these votes?
enough liberty to fit into my wife's uterus!...liberty....
it's not cheating.Anyone can stay to be elected delegates, how is that cheating?

havent you heard they're only straw polls and your in a republic anyway so democracy isnt neededit's not cheating.
it's just ignoring the will of the people who have stated that they do not want old racist ronald.
but of course, your cult knows better than us stupid sheeple.
funny thing is that the paul cultists loved to brag about how well ronald did in straw polls back before the primaries began.havent you heard they're only straw polls and your in a republic anyway so democracy isnt needed
seems you sheeple have a lot to learn

If you repeat yourself enough maybe people will understand your distorted view of reality. The straw votes are an indicator of public opinion so doing well in the polls is good and Ron Paul has greatly improved in his poll numbers compared to 2008. The delegate system helps candidates who have strong grassroots support, which is the will of the people. Anybody can become a delegate, so if they voted and didn't attempt to be elected delegate than they can't complain that their voice isn't being heard.funny thing is that the paul cultists loved to brag about how well ronald did in straw polls back before the primaries began.
now that he is losing them, they don't matter, nor does the will of the people.
i'm just LOLing at the blatant hypocrisy.
true. he's gone from last place to last place. nice accomplishment!...Ron Paul has greatly improved in his poll numbers compared to 2008....
like i said, i'm sure you would be saying the same thing if paul got a majority of the votes but they sent a romney or santorum delegate instead. i'm positive that you would be the first person here defending that! The delegate system ... is the will of the people.
The view thats distorted here is yours man, i mean no offense. I think that youre so supportive of the candidate that you fail to see how this looks from the OUTSIDE of your political circle.you need to read.

in the interests of fairness i merged another "Ron Paul loses" thread uncle buck started on Feb 2 with this one.
everybody happy?
Nothing is being STOLEN at all - the medias "projections" are not supposed to come true. The people that actually put more than an hour into selecting their candidate get to actually be the ones that have a say, ANYONE can do it, the vast majority of people who looked into it for more than an hour or two are supporting Ron Paul(No surprise there), and what is wrong with that? This is not new.The view thats distorted here is yours man, i mean no offense. Im an Independent and Ill tell how it looks. It looks like a feeble attempt to circumvent the will of the voters. When you LOSE the vote but then STEAL delegates it will backfire. Youre pissing voters off and its gonna come back to bite your movement in the ass. Paul supporters complain that he isnt taken seriously, this does not help that issue at all. Scream about "liberty for all", I guess thats only if they vote for your candidate?
Either way, its a bullshit tactic, seen as sophomoric and makes the campaign and the candidate look like fools. LOL steal delegates without winning a single state, you guys look pathetic.
It's fairly funny that you tell him his Civics teacher did him wrong and then INCORRECTLY tell him we are a democracy. Apparently, somebody didn't make it far enough in school to even participate in a Civics class.Your high school Civics teacher done you wrong. But you should know better, "and to the Republic, for which it stands." What's that, Republic? Stupid pledge, we're a fucking democracy!
You poor dumb, Testudine.currently we are stacked up like this:
romney 69
gingrich 23
santorum 13
paul 3
huntsman 2
http://www.cbsnews.com/primary-election-results-2012/scorecard.shtml?party=R
2286 total, 1144 to win.
question of this thread is: how badly will ron paul lose?
based on the math so far, paul has garnered an AWESOME 3/110 delegates. this would put him at a total of 62 delegates by the end of things.
i am going to be generous and nearly TRIPLE that number. yes, paulistas, i am THAT generous.
my prediction is that ron paul will LOSE with a paltry 180 delegates to show for it.
anyone else want to stick their neck out there and predict how badly ron paul will lose?
Bullshit. You made all this crap up. because you can't see the trees for the forrest one should believe your agenda driven "take " on it? lmaoThe view thats distorted here is yours man, i mean no offense.
