haven't been incarcerated but my dad has worked as a prison guard and that shit is fucked up.
if you get locked up for drugs, you're going in there with rapist, murderers, and shit...have fun.

I've been to my counties jail.
And no I won't.

1, there are hardly any rapists or murderers there.
2, general population is heavily segregated by your characteristics, in my county I won't even be in the same pod as someone 20 years older than me. Old people are put with old people, young people with young, violent offenders with violent offenders, sex offenders with sex offenders, inmate workers with inmate workers...

I don't have spring breaks anymore, but in the near future I'm headin to Canada with some buddies, got to go there before me or any of my friends get a DUI or some other misdemeanor...

Only got to go to Vancouver once before, and I was amazed by how friendly everyone was.

Jail ain't fun but it isn't really all that bad either. Y'all are watching too much TV/movies. Rapes don't happen all like that. If you get raped in jail its because you wanted a dick in the ass. Random beat downs don't happen all the time either. Its usually gang related. Don't be a gang member and you won't get shanked. As far as spring break......nope. I have this thing called a job.

Spring break doesnt mean your a student or get time off in the spring.
Its about taking time off of work or school and enjoying the change of winter to spring. Let off some stress and go party hardy till you go back to work or school.
Everyone needs a vacation some just choose to take it in the spring.

If you're a rapist, and people hear you raped a little girl, or someone's wife.
Yeah, you're in for a bad stay, they don't take kindly to people that rape their wives and children.
But if you're in their for something stupid or cool, and if you talk friendly to people, instead of being a scared bitch for people to punk out.
Then you just trade the food you don't want to eat to people that DO want to eat it, for food they don't want. Black people are all about food in jail, that's LIFE in there.
Gamble away some of your commissary food. Then people know they can just get some stuff that way.
And give some commissary away sometimes. If you've got like 12 candies, give a couple away.

As a side note Fin, you may want to check with your lawyer if you can still get into Canada. I'm pretty sure if you have a criminal offense you can't get in.
