Day 86 with 37 into flowering. Plant is the same as yesterday. No new issues. I really hope to pull it through with it. Next week my magnifying glass will arrive and I'll be able to check the status. Theoretically I should keep it into flowering for 5-7 weeks, depending on the strain. From my research I reached the conclusion that I am dealing with a sativa dominant. She is tall, the leaves are big, not pointy like in indica. So...the flowering period for a sativa is a bit longer then the indica. Hopefully it will be in the 7 weeks range. The hairs are turning brown now. Pics as usual I'll post next Monday. Other than that, the soil is still moist so no rush in watering.
I've been thinking...first, I wasn't able to find any research into this. Everybody knows gnats. When your plant is little, they can be a danger due to their children, the fucking worms that are feeding on the young roots and this can lead to death. This has not happen in my case. But still, I am thinking...all this problems with my leaves that I have...basically the worms, if they are eating the roots, they can act as a nutrient deficit?! For example...when you have a Ca deficit, what will happen? The roots will not absorb the nutrients and the leaves will start to get yellow death spots. If Mg is not absorbed, then black spots will appear and even if you'll give Mg salts, they will not get absorbed because you have Ca deficit as well and your roots are blocked. So...what if the gnats are acting like that? Was it researched? can they do that? stopping the roots in getting the nutrients (some of them, in my case the Mg) it's just a thought. Anyways...now...to do something about the gnats...I don't know what or if it's not to late. I don't have access to sand, and on the only gardening shop in this city, they don;t have any gnat killing juice. The only way is to order from the internet with about 35 euros and it will get to me maybe next tuesday. So...basically I need to survive with my plant for another...2 weeks now? I am day 37 into flowering, so that's 5 weeks and 2 days. So if I am aiming for the 7 weeks, that's another 2 weeks
