PC Grow: 1 x Auto Blue Mystic - ScrOG / 250W CFL

I've spend the past 2 hours searching for a thread here on RIU, but I can't find it so I'm asking for your help.

It's a guy who have a stealth cabinet in his bedroom(?) and runs a "continuous" grow with multiple strains.
I remember that he grows in his bedroom(?) which is the only place in his house he's allowed to smoke weed inside for his wife(?).

Should I let her be in 48 hour darkness before harvest, like you would do with an non-Auto to let her ripen up?

personally I let my plants to go to sleep as they always do and then I shut down the light timer and chop it the day after.. so it gets between 12 and 24 hours of darkness. I tried the 48 hours on one of my previews grows and havent noticed any difference, it even looked more "tired" than any of my other harvests. but you know.. to each his own. for your question, yes people do that with autos too.

Just trying to help you out here... is that your Ona gel inside the cab to the right of the plant? I've heard that deodorizing gels inside a grow room will kill the taste and smell of bud, and replace it with the scent of the gel. So if you got fresh linen gel, you'll probably be smoking some fresh linen tasting buds that smell like fresh linen too.

Yes. Just make sure that the total amps (of the fans) equal or are less then the ac/dc converter can handle. Typically you can run a bunch off of one converter.

AC chargers for cell phones are only 5V and anywhere from 300mA to 1000mA and because most PC fans are 12V the actual draw is going to be much less than what the fan is rated for.

EG: 12V DC rated for 300mA

Internal resistance of fan:

12 / 0.3 = 40 (ohms)

Draw from 5V:

5 / 40 = 0.125 (amps)

Total draw is 125mA when running @ 5V

As usually, thanks for sharing your experiences. I'll stick do 24 (maybe 36) hour of darkness to this one and will have 48 hour of darkness for my Northern Light. Damn, it's getting real close now! Hard to believe I'm nearly there!

By the way, based on your experience: what would you guess the yield will be based out of the pictures?
Personally, I think I'll get something around 15 grams.

Yeah, I could easily grow two plants in here I think. After my next grow I'll experiment with 2-3 plants in here using 0.3 gallons Air Pots.

yes, 13-15 grams seems about right. maybe a bit more because of that huge bulb you got there.

Hard to tell w/o some kinda of size reference (lighter) and knowing how dense they are.

I'd guess more around 8-11g dry.

When it comes to CFLs, appearance is deceiving.
