Ok, The kelp meal I have is ground to a 14mesh Kind of course to spray. When you say rehydrate. Can I brew the tea and use a bubbler and then strain the solids off?? Or do I need to get a liquid?
Thanks!!!
Glad to see you finally found the help you needed, you're in good hands here.

you dont need a liquid. what i usually do is use panty hose or a paint strainer bag and put all the ingredients in so they stay contained. if you are doing a foliar spray i would take the filter out of your sprayer tip and use some cheesecloth, pantyhose whatever you have lying around to strain the tea as your filling your sprayer. it sucks when a small particle of something clogs your sprayer. the stuff you have now will work fine. if your gonna do a tea though, i would do a compost tea with the castings & compost and then the guano for flowering instead of just kelp.

Your the man Farmerjoe, The wife might not think so or appreciate it though when all he pantyhose are used up for my grow...LOL
I mixed up my soil today, Pretty close to what we discussed a little lighter on the castings and I added in a little guano. But all in all it was pretty close to what we discussed. I transplanted them today into the soil and so far they are looking pretty good.
I have some pictures in my journal, if you would like to check them out click on the link in my signature.
Thanks for all your help bro, I am sure I will be chatting with you as this grow continues.

Hello there, I was wondering if someone here can take a look at these pictures and let me know what you think.
I think it may be N deficient but not sure. The lower leaves are yellowing and then the next set is yellow to lime green. the rest of the plant looks good and green.
I have not given it anything except water with 1Tbs Molasses per gallon.
If it is N Def, what would you suggest? is there a tea or top dress I should use?
Many thanks....

Hmm, your blend is much different(and hotter actually)than mine. I don't think it is a N deficiency, at least it shouldn't be with that mix. How long have you been using molasses?. Try and limit it to every other watering b/c it actually is a chelating agent that can cause N lockout over time.

But it takes a LOT more than you are using, so I'm probably wrong.

Sunbiz, I am only using the molasses in the water every other watering. From what I have received for advise is that they dont think it is N def but to keep a close eye on it.
They are not really getting worse, if so it is VERY slow showing it.
