And with toping the plants id wait till its got atleast 3-4 nodes goin. Im sure u can pinch em off now but being that young it might b to much for them. But LST wouldnt b a bad idea to start. Not really any harm n getting a headstart just b really carefull u dont break the stems. Start with slight bends and work up as it grows.

You should always fill your pots or cups right up to the top--and make sure there are holes in the bottom of the cup and along the lower sides of the cup. Why would you have your seedling pots only half-full of soil??

Update time:

I kept the same little cab until I build a new one. I've came into a little problem. I'll be purchasing a PH kit but I think this issue is either N or Cal deficiency. I added more soil, verm and perlite to fill the pot. When should I LST and swith to 12/12? Also what should I do to fix this? A day ago I mixed 1 tablespoon of this epson salt mixed with water, misted the leaves and soil. Hopefully this fixes my issue. I also added some sawdust to balance the ph. Suggestions? Are my plants growing too slow?

ADDED: Look at how much room I have until the plant touches the lights... What should I do?

Hello rabbit bro!

I also had slow growth in my first attempt. This was caused of over watering and very low air humidity like 30% only. I was suggested to add H2O2 to my water. I don't really remember the amount. But it was very very little. like 1 ml per 10l of water or something. Maybe just search for the correct dose. I've heard people call it liquid oxygen. it help roots to become normal again and start to develop new root growth. After one time adding H2O2 things went smoothly. maybe you should try this. Also - don't over water ever. Better is to let the soil dry out than all the time being wet. Wen you let it dry out, it opens all the pores for sucking in the tiny amount of water that is left in this dry soil and there comes more oxygen in the roots as well. So by next watering it will take every food that you give them. When you over water. Plant feels like in swamp. Roots close all the pores and they don't take any oxygen and don't develop. Plant doesn't need bigger roots, because it doesn't have to grow them for finding water in bigger area. This is how I understand the irrigation of plant.

So my suggestion is to add H2O2 by next watering and then let the soil dry out. Just keep on watching that plant doesn't start to yellow by having no water. and then you can smoothly start to go back to your feeding plans. I am not really specialist of nutes, because I think that good soil has enough food inside already. I was transplanting my plant three times during veg. So every time it got fresh soil with all the food inside. In later stages when you feel that plant has taken everything from soil you can add some nutes. I know many people will disagree with me. But this method makes things easier. Plant knows what it needs and takes it from soil itself. When you feed it from early stages it can cause some locks, defs and everything. I haven't had such problems. I am only in half way of my second grow of course and can't tell you all the truth, but I tell you how it works for me.

For raising humidity I bought little air humidifier but it looks like even it doesn't fit in your cab. Or maybe humidity isn't issue for you.

Update: I took some pictures today. I notice 2/4 plants have the bottom leaves looking burnt/ yellow. Any suggestions?

Also how are they looking? I exchanged one of the 6500k bulbs for one 2700k bulb.

Sorry to double post but there was no replies. I've narrowed down the burnt tip look. It is either "Nute Burn, Nitrogen Defi, Mag Defi or not enough CO2." I think those are the main problem. I bet alot of you are waiting for a PH result. I promise tomorrow I will check and post the results.

I would like to help, but as I said I don't know much about nutes. To me that looks like N def. But other leaves look like it was in the past.

Put some more epson salt on the 2 plants that have some N problems. They are going fast! I bought some pink yarn for LST. This will be fun!

If your wanting more room your going to need to find a way to mount the lights horizontally and switch to shorter like tubberware pots.

Hey Hey! Youre plants are growing very pretty, i like the look of them! You do need to turn them lights sideways if possible ur wasting alot of light! I had that problem at start just cuz its easier to have them at that angle! The yellowing can be a few things a N def, its a little young to have that id think but im not sure how old they are and what soil ur using! It could be PH balance, who knows just keep an eye on it! Rip them yellow ones off after a while no need to have a dead leaf on ur plant

having ur lights more horizontal over the plant! the tops of the lights do not give as much light as the sides do! I kinda put mine half and half!

that's why i like those two-way splitters. they give a nice angle. i think i would grow in a row, down the middle of a row of double bulbs, if i were, hypothetically of course, a stealth grower. those are some lovely ladies.....best of luck!

Assuming they triple in height you may want to start now. Since you don't really have space height wise. Maybe if you have time try to mount them on the side of your box but high up so you can get max grow space. Seems kind of late to transplant to lengthyier pots now. But other than the lights everything looks like its going well.

Why do you think it is too late for transplant? I've seen people transplant flowering plants. It is never too late as soon as you don't change the medium. Like soil to hydro or hydro to soil

Im saying to late to transplant into horizontal pots for more space pot to light wise or he would have to mess with roots which would not be good. He surely can transplant to a bigger pot if he so wanted to. @xoshua I'd say anywhere from 8-10 weeks depending on strain.Not really educated much in breeding or creating seeds so I have no clue.

Yea buddy go ahead and throw them suckers in 12/12, they wont mature til they are ready so at that lighting schedule they will do what they gotta do! I run mine all 12/12 from seed now and the babies are doing just fine and i also have a plant flowering right next to them!
