Northern Lights first Cabinet, Suggestions.

Bump? I've searched on riu but still looking for a reliable answer on if any of these are female and if they are hermies, should I just take off the balls or start again? I'm not worried on infecting the other plants since this is my first grow and I only have the 4 plants. Ugh these guys have been alive since november....

Its always hard for me to tell my a pic! they look like they can be Hermies, if you want grow them til they finish and see what u get! I doubt it will be anything worth smoking! Maybe make some hash or some brownies with the plants. I wouldnt put any more in the Cab until ur done though because u dont want to contaminate any other plants, also make sure u clean the hell out of ur Cab when ur done. That pollen and shit will get everywhere and can ruin future crops. Sorry about that buddy it sucks taking care of something for so long and it turn out to be like that! :( ohh well!

Ah this is disheartening. I'm just worried the "balls" aren't actually "balls." I know the balls grow between the nodes but I was seeing the "balls" on the top of the tip. Do males or hermies grow tons of balls on the top?

I'm debating tossing them and starting up new with hydroponics.

I wanted to insert a poll to ask if I should toss them or keep them. Sorry for asking such silly questions but I'm not familiar with flowering stage. I didn't know if it was just the strain or not.
So should I toss it or keep it? Keep in mind they MAY not all be hermies/ males.

they all have balls mate.. no point in keeping them really. were these feminized seeds or regs? if they were feminized you might wanna ask for a refund from the seek bank or something.

dam, so sorry bout your plants bro. Just start over with new seeds, maybe buy some feminized seeds. Oh and also smoke a fatty. :bigjoint:

After further investigation I have concluded 2/4 to be officially hermy/ male. (Wife says I'm on this site like its a teenage girls facebook hah).Anyways... the other two... one is definetly female and the other seems to be a bit more immature so I'm unable to tell sacks from balls but soon. The one that is female has no balls, just hairs BUT see my pictures, the bottom leaves are yellow with green veins. Flushing didn't help much but when I added a 10-10-4 flower stick, it seemed to make the leaves a bit greener. Any idea?

by having a male in the same cab as ur females, all ur plants are going to be ruined! Youre looking for that sensi bud and sensi is plants that are seperated from all males to prevent seeds so u just got a horny female left! Id say seperate immediately brother so u can save that female! Pollen spreads like crazy, i have grown outdoors with all female plants and a seed or two come up in my bud, it must be getting pollinated by some ones shit down the way! Your'e pretty much going to have to start from scratch and also clean that cab head to toe!

Alright I'll take the other out since I'm uncertain and keep the 1 female. I'll than clean the cabinet head to toe. Judging by the size of my cabinet, should I get a bigger pot size? Any suggestions?

I have a few Northern Lights seeds left and some random ones too. I have one more questions... If I were to have one of the extension cords with lights to 6500k lights and on the other cord just have all 2700k, can I potentially have a perpetual grow? If I were to grow from seed to harvest at 12hours on- 12 hours off would I see a decent harvest?

Actually it doesn't matter if you clean your grow cab now. If there was pollen - it has done it's job. If there wasn't one, why to clean? let your girl grow. Clean definitely before putting new plant in and have taken this possibly dirty bitch out of course.

Perpetual grow with four small plants is the thing I am considering now too. I can't afford running two cabs but one with some 200w I could. Those 400w + fans take way too much. My landlord is already asking why the bill is so big.

Ill check it out! Its just the one female left, I've seperated them when I was taking them away. The cabinet was cleaned head to toe. Also, I've introduced her into a bigger pot. She's going to like this since her roots were covering the entire area. My temps are lowest at 71 and highest at 77. Any way to add heat? I've gone overboard with fresh air and awesome exhaust. Its overkill because the cfls aren't producing enoug heat. Any ideas?Also, any clue how to solve a nitrogen or mag deficiency? I've tried a ph strip but they suck, it read 6.4.

Here is the girl. I pulled off some sacks, not much but they looked like sacs so I picked them off. Anyways here she is. Also I posted some plant food around the house. I would like to make my girls bigger. Which plant food do I go with? Liquid stuff, powder stuff or epson salt?

Epson salt, LOL!

I've used GENERAL ORGANICS for over a year. (Minus the fish crap) It's hard to screw it up with that nutrient line.

Plant looks like boy but has white hair. That is one manlike girl

She isn't she. She is heshale or shemale. I haven't had one because this is my third plant only, but from what I've read hermies don't do much. They are very weak. BUT if I were on your place I def would grow till the end. I couldn't pull it out. keep growing and clean the cab afterwards

I have a bigger pot than I did when I had my smaller cab if you guys can tell. IF I start over, should I go with a bunch of smaller pots or the same size and get less? Or even getting a bigger pot with even less? (All Northern Light seeds, mixed male and female, from 420-seeds.com .

I have some 6500k bulbs ready but I need to be sure its a shemale and it won't produce bud. Also if I do chop, can I cure the white tips and still smoke it or?

Brother Rabbit I bet it can't harm you anyways so I allow to smoke them. That is of course what I would do! I can't tell for sure if it is shemale. Show balls then I will tell ya! :D Not yours, hers! :D :D :D I would recognize balls If I could see them. Now I can't say 100% chop
