Has anyone ever seen a main cola like this???

So.... this plant was grown under CFL's and still in it's flowering stage (day 17). Everything was done 100% correct and I used all organic growing medium, nutes and fertilizers. As I was saying, it was changed into 12/12 light cycle about 22 day's ago. (I don't start counting my flowering time until the pistils show - it took about 5 days of 12/12 for this to happen)

Nonetheless, through it's ENTIRE veg stage and SOME of it's flowering stage it's been LST'd (the branches broke at main stalk during flowering, but I tied them back up and they healed with "scars" and have continually grown - see first picture) and I fimmed it I think 3 times? Def. fimmed twice within the last two weeks of veg before changing to 12/12!

All that being said, I THOUGHT I had been taking pictures/checking out the main cola the entire time and it hasn't been! The main cola is where the bundled flowers are? This is just one of the two BIG flowers on each side of the plant!! (again - pictures will show and explain) I was wondering if these are all going to be separate buds or are they going to combine into ONE big bud at the main cola???

We'll start from the bottom up.... here's where the branches first split off into the two HUGE flowers! (you can see the "healed" breaks)



Here's the top, bottom side of the MAIN cola that splits off into 5 diff flowers? Lots of hairs and huge grow spot underneath...



Here's what I THOUGHT was the main cola the whole time but ended up being one of those "broken branches after further inspection....



Here's the other side of the broken branches, it's flower on the end...



And now here's that main cola that splits up into 5 different flowers? NEVER seen anything like this...



The plant is just WEIRD in itself!! - Check out the shape....




And here's just a cool ass PERFECT leaf that I clipped off to expose a flower, I may frame it... lol! Actually it's going to be my new avatar (sp? def. wrong!) Whatever....

not hating on you when i say this but it looks like you FIMM and LST and shit way too much.

next plant maybe top it once or twice for a couple main colas if you want but you would have been better off leaving it alone and letting it grow normally.

the plant itself looks healthy as far as the leaf color and stuff so im sure you will get some nice buds off it. enjoy :)

Im gonna agree, that you must be really high. When you fim or top there is no more "main cola" hence all the different tops. LOL Yeah the plants a little weird looking but thats unrelated to your topping. I have about 8 tops on my little plant right now from pruning.

ya man that girls ugly as can be...but looks like if you would have vegged her alot longer, she woulda produced somethin crazy!

That plant is a hot mess. Looks like a reflection of it's growers personality. Stop trying so hard, just let it grow next time.

yeah people definatly try way too hard somethimes to grow a relativly simple plant.

only reason you should be LSTing is if you have a specific reason to, like a SCROG or a really short grow space.

and topping isnt always as great as it sounds, sure you will get multiple colas but if you had left it alone you may have gotten only 1 cola the size of a 3 litre bottle opposed to 5 colas the size of a 12 ounce can. topping is another thing you should really only do once unless you have a specific reason to top the plant.

Thanks, I appreciate the direct question(s) reply... and not some random crap, talking shit about my plant! Didn't realize fimming would create more than just that ONE main cola, but I like how it's turned out, I counted 20+ grow spots earlier.... it's INSANE!!

Actually that was not a possibility as this is an undercover grow due to my living space.... plants far from a "hot mess", don't see how hence I have buds growing everywhere??

Vegged for almost 3 months bro, I was LST'n..... it was a HUGE BUSH before it went into flowering and it lost a lot of leaves and started putting power into those flowers! ;)

I had EVERY reason to lst and fim my plant??? And I NEVER topped, EVER! I have a very small grow space and I think I'll have a DECENT harvest..... I think it looks like a bonsai tree, which is badass to me. Sorry, not into the bandwagon jumping, I like to do things my way and it shows :) .....





Underneath all of those leaves and flowers, there are BUNDLES of hairs growing toward the top.... So again, if you have nothing positive or RELEVENT to say, PLEASE MOVE ALONG! I asked why there was so many cola's up top, this turned into a bash. I would love to know how this plant looks terrible in ANY WAY?

I'm glad that you are happy with your plant. Hard to believe you vegged the thing for 3 months and this is what you got out of it. The thing is definitely a hot mess, next time, cut your veg in half and maybe FIM or top it once like a normal person. After THAT harvest compare the two and you'll see why THIS plant is a hot mess.

I fimmed it twice and LST'd it...... reasons for the awkward growing! MOSTLY the lst'n did it... I think this yield is going to be FAR better than any other way I couldv'e grown it. I have 28 bud sites on a 17" plant, in a 3 gallon pot. The buds haven't even begun to swell, day 19 of flowering.

I have some terrible news for you...those buds aren't going to swell. It's not as if you're going to have 28 big buds on there my friend, you'll have 28 tiny little annoying leafy fuggers. Just for yucks, next time do it the normal way and see how it works out. Maybe just top it or FIM it (whatever the hell you want to call it) ONCE and leave it alone. Just as a comparison.
