thanks gopher bud
i encountered in this grow was a few things fungus gnats which i got rid of by adding cinamin on top of my soil and some foriegn weed growth with a few plants encountering some sort of fungas peatmoss base on top of soil
Mg works and found out this grow also by adding nutes in all stages it appeared 5th week of flowering a start of nute burn which i seem to get in other soils as well prob my bad by being a aggressive grower
other then that MG organic soil is awesome to work with seems to hold moisture pretty good drain very well only thing i suggest others that try this stuff is to sterilize it heres some pics of my next grow organic Mg as well cause i got a few bags kicking around but sterilized also some steps to sterilizeing soil before use
Sterilizing soil for seed starting is one of the easiest things you can do to make seed sprouting a success. Here’s how you do it:
- Put your desired amount of soil in an oven roasting bag
- Add some water to the soil
- Tie the bag
- Poke a hole for a meat thermometer
- Put the soil bag on the pan
- Heat the soil to between 160-170 degrees. (Set the oven on 200, and lower if temp. of soil goes above 170).
- Use the meat thermometer to check the soil temperature.
- Leave it in for about 30 minutes
- Remove soil and let it cool thoroughly before planting anything in it!
