The Irish Growers Thread!

I've managed to dry in a shed but only in the summer, the attic can get cold with this weather but it is possible, it just takes a little longer....
Light degrades thc so dry them in the dark...
 
I'm due to harvest in about 2 weeks, will be chopping down a Pakistani Ryder and possibly a Northern Lights if its ready, not due to cut down the Mi5 until early in the new year.

Paying 300 a oz at the moment, got some good stuff few weeks ago but this stuff isnt great at all, not much of a high off it. Kinda stuck with it now until it runs out but hopefully make it last until my own stuff is ready!
 
I had to chop down my plants today, garda helicopter has been over my house the last 2 days and it's way too much of a coincidence. Was in week 3 of flowering as well, but fuck it, got some northern lights germing and got a 400w HPS on the way. I thought the pigs weren't allowed to use the FLIR for checking grow ops anymore?
 
Aw man that sucks, you get anything off them? Im actually growing a NL myself at the moment! Dying to try it, all i can see is people saying how great it is!
 
the garda chopper was doen d same on sunday an monday im in week 3 also im not cutting mine fuck the pigs its only 10 plants for meself i didnt get me door kicked yet so fingers crossed wit rosery beads in me hands and 2 magpies ha ha it looked like it was looken str8 at me im pure paro but fuck when der done der done an that aint goen to be yill another 5 weeks country aload of bollox iammour did they come to get u yet

Paranoia will destroy ya! The Garda helicopter is only used now when someone's life is in danger or a serious crime has been committed.

They also need to have a warrant to use FLIR on your property and no offence but the likes of us are not even on their radar.

I agree with Mr H again.... Helecopters cost a fortune to run per hour, so little crimes like us just isn't worth it..
 
There was a guy arrested for having something like 25 plants and he got away with personal and just a €1027 fine.

I also know of a guy that got caught with 11 or 12 plants and a few ounces of dried herb...he hasn't been called to court yet...it was 2 years ago.
 
Nope nobodys called yet, only reason I got rid of it was having the chopper above my house 2 days in a row when I hadn't seen it in a year or so seemed strange. And my plant wasn't yielding much anyway, got a 400w hps now so I can start growing like a mad thing. Gonna give it a few days and see if they call into the house, I hope they come around so they can see my legitimate plants and never bother me again :d
 
totally argree wit harrikin shades dont fly unless ther is a major issue on goin and choppers as a rule will only report like a few 1000 watts in action if even fu''k um they will have to have top notch paper work to enter ur gaff.
funds are not there anymore to use chopper for minor growers i would not stress

I mean in fairness like, we're not even hurting anyone else. Who cares if we grow a few plants and use them ourselves? It's not gonna end the world or anything...what difference does it make to anyone else? It'd probably cost more for court than the fine would be worth for the DPP.

What you currently growing Harrekin?
Im in the middle of setting up a knew grow, wont be kicking her of till the new year though. Ive been getting all my bits and pieces ready. Going for a perpetual sog set up. Have 2 x 3 x 3 tables with 600 over each.50 gal res under each. Im going for 4 plants per square ft. Im planning on working my way up to 6 per square foot on a 5x5 with 1000 over her or 2 x 600, prob 2 x 600 as 1000 are a bit over kill. Hopefully within the year she will be extended.
The only issue I have is what exact strain Im going to use.?? Unfortunately I have no mums and I dont wanna have to plant 50 seeds to try and find a good one.1000 would be better but not really financially viable at present. I have access to nice genes in London so I might try and get a few clones over. A little bit of hassle but well worth it time wise and finacially.
Anyway guys, ill be hanging around for a bit. Im going to start up a journal in the next couple of weeks. I will start with the finnishing off of the grow room then go from there. Current grow room space is 10 x 10 so plenty of space for current operation with room for clones and 3mums :)

fucken choppers 4get about them if we keep talken bout raids half of us wont b growing anymore lets get bck to talken about the weed im goen to do a feed tonite 2morrow is starten of week 4 hope they explode in the next week r two any of yous useing pk13-14 im sick smoken dis hash iv a qrt left when i smoke tat im not buyen anyting else just goen to go witout smoken anyting til these are done any1 in flowering show us ur plants
 
Got some blue cheese ordered, guards came and asked if they could look inside, I agreed, had a quick look around and apologised for bothering me growing coriander. Going to be growing a fucking forest soon, might go aero actually if I can find some cheap EC/PH monitoring equipment, anyone know where I could pick some up around dublin?

Why in Jesus name would you let them in?

My first response would've been "you have a warrant?".
 
It's better to let them in when I have no plants, rather than them forcing their way in with a warrant when I am growing 10. If you show some respect, you will get some respect.

No no...now they know for sure they just caught you between grows...

Just because somebody is growing plants indoors doesn't mean it is always cannabis, I am growing coriander at the moment and they were happy enough to see that and apologised for bothering me, alls well that ends well. No need for tinfoil hats, now I can grow in peace!
