Site Notice: We had to switch servers on short notice because our host shut the site down for overusing resources. We had to restore with a backup from Sunday at 5pm. We apologize for the lost posts and comments

of the 33 people arrested in oakland today, only 9 were actually from oakland.

they all went home, except for a handful of people lingering around the library now. there are more cops and newsmen then protestors at this point.

snow park is next.

nope. there is a small group of people outside the library. there is still dude in the tree at the park. everyone else is still hiding.

how can anyone take a howling dude in a tree serious? and it's the same dude who sat in a tree in berkeley a few years ago. until he had to come down. maybe THIS time he'll win!!

1000 people have assembled in Oakland. they are claiming "reoccupation". they are not pitching any tents yet. they are allowed to stay but they aren't allowed to "camp".

it's not over yet. :)

there are black masked 'anarchists' in the crowd.

today's "cleanup" cost the city between $300,000 - 500,000 dollars.

From Occupyoakland.org,

The occupiers began marching shortly before 5 pm with about 1000 marchers. The march reached the plaza at 14th and Broadway with over 2000 people and immediately convened a General Assembly. :)

SEEEEEE

It happened here, and it's even bigger there(in Oakland). They aren't just going to lay down, and take bullshit. That's the whole point. :)

^^^^this is funny. :)
How???

This is real and it's happening.

What don't people get.
It doesn't just "end"
It's not just going to be "over".
They are creating something.

In 60 years people will be asking their elderly family members. "Did you Occupy America"
