I didn't mean to offend you bud...I embrace everyones opinion ( except that assface yesterday blaming weed for his crack problem...lol)...since I was a little kid, christmas always meant I could get the fuck away from my step-dad for 2 weeks and go to grandmas where I could breath...we always had a huge family gathering, I'd get to see all my cousins...blah blah blah, it's a time of the year that brings back that feeling. And then I started having kids at a young age, so the tradition continues on.
I'm not a big religous person, I do believe Jesus was born around Dec.25th, but I also believe it was Alien influence that explains most of the Bible...so...lol...I don't get dressed and go to church...but I do say a happy B-day to him, as I smoke my christmas morning fatty.
see, u r more religious than i am. i don't believe in jesus or that there is a god. i certainly doon't believe there is a male humanish god that sits up in the clouds. the bible is just a book.

i don't see family. i spend a quiet evening alone with my bf and we cook a traditional meal. for me, it's a day that reminds me of my grandpa who is no longer with us.

Christmas was instituted by the Catholic church, taking an existing pagan holiday and wrapping it with a "Christian" cloak. "Jesus" was born on the Feast of Tabernacles, 3 AD.

And what is the importance of saying this?

Nah, I don't think pointing out the hypocrasy of the religion behind a celebration that's largely become non-religious is the same as saying end it, just saying that while it may be of significance to people, it's mostly due to the sentimental and traditional aspects of the holiday and not the religious ones, so those of us who grew up differently may have different views on it is all.

If I was invited to a christmas party I'd probably go, I have in the past. I'd never object to a group of people celebrating and having fun with people they enjoy being with, hell that's what makes life worth it most of the time, but on a specific day? Why not do it every day? It's how I live, I see the people I like all the time...they come over for dinner, just to hang out, my place is like the "ever-home" of my friends. Always welcome, always food and drink and smoke, and always good company.

And it's good for you (obviously)....

Almond milk, like soy milk, is an alternative to cow's milk. This fortified beverage, made from almonds, has a surprisingly rich and creamy taste. Lower in calories and fat than regular cow's milk, it is high in vitamins, such as vitamin E. Like cow's milk and fortified soy milk, almond milk boasts an impressive dose of bone-building calcium.
DIET-FRIENDLY
Plain, original almond milk provides 60 to 70 calories per cup, about 15 calories less than the same amount of skim milk. It is low in protein, providing only 1 to 2 g per cup, 2.5 g fat, and has 0 g saturated fat and 8 g carbohydrates. Because of its low calorie content, almond milk may be a beneficial addition to a diet geared toward weight loss or weight management.

Almond milk is lower in both potassium and phosphorus than regular or soy milk. Individuals with kidney disease, chronic or acute, must restrict their intake of these minerals, according to the Medical College of Wisconsin. Thus, almond milk may be a better choice. It is a nutritious option for those suffering from lactose intolerance. In addition, soy products may not be appropriate for all individuals; for example, women with a history of breast cancer may be advised by their physicians to avoid soy.

VITAMIN-RICH
Like conventional dairy products, almond milk is nutrient-fortified, and a good source of several important fat-soluble vitamins. One cup of plain almond milk meets 10 percent of the Recommended Daily Value (DV) for vitamin A, 25 percent for vitamin D and 50 for vitamin E, making it high in many nutrients compared to the amount of calories it provides per serving. Vitamins A and E act as antioxidants, enhancing immunity and protecting the body's cells and tissues from damage. In addition, vitamin A is important for healthy eyesight and supports normal growth and development. Vitamin D helps build and maintain strong bones and teeth, and enhances immunity.
HIGH IN CALCIUM
Almond milk is rich in calcium, providing the same amount per cup as cow's milk and soy milk. One cup offers approximately 300 mg, meeting 30 percent of the DV for this major mineral. Calcium plays many roles in the human body. Along with vitamin D, phosphorus and magnesium, calcium is needed to build and maintain strong bones and teeth. It also helps regulate blood pressure and is necessary for muscle contraction. Those who cannot tolerate dairy products, or do not use them, often come up short on this important nutrient; consuming almond milk regularly ensures adequate calcium intake.

Alright I'm done talking about this milk.... Maybe, lol
