It be cool to meet yall but I gotta miss this one. I'd go to a spring / fall / summer outdoor meetup at a lake closer to the bay area like Berryessa or Clearlake

How much closer does it have to be to the bay area lol. This place we are all talking about is like a hour and a half two hours away from the east bay. Its just outside sac towm from what i can see.

Why so late in the year? It's already getting cold outside, IMO the outdoors won't be too friendly to hang out in all day

i was talking to my wife about a summer get together at lake sonoma. there are a bunch of "boat in only" campgrounds that have 4 and 5 sites per location. i have a boat to ferry people back and forth to their cars and a few other toys as well. there are some really cool somewhat secluded areas up there that would be perfect.

i own a few flannels, just for wintertime. ;)

I believe there are some 'boat only' camp spots around this lake also!
The south campground may be closed to cars in the winter, but boats can pull right up to it. We could have that whole south campground to ourself!

I only scheduled it that late because I wanted to give everyone enough time to finish trimming & have time to make plans. Too much earlier, would put it right at Thanksgiving, & I know people have family plans for that.

P.S. The weather could also be just fine!

Camp Far West Lake wasn't too cold for these guy's last Jan.
I would bring a jacket, but I doubt it's any colder than a Niners game at Candelstick!;-)
