No i get fired up when people talk about exposing children to adult things, i found porno magazines when i was about 5-6 and witnessed my aunt and her friends smoke weed since about the same age, honestly people tried to shelter me but having a wild family mom could not always be watching. At a young age adults talked about sex and drugs in front of me, i was very sexual at a young age (lost my virginity at 13) why because i was overly exposed to adult things and got curious, having dropped acid at the age of 12 is not something i want my future daughter to be doing or even having boys touch her before she has time to explore her own body. I've seen children accidently eat hash, and the parents were good people, shit happens in 2 seconds, Parents need to prepare and protect children for the world, not expose and humiliate them because they were improperly raised. I wont allow my children to make the wrong choices i did, parents are so afraid to parent their kids these days, my children will only be my friends when they are adults are not needing my guidance only asking for my support

i don't have any issues with just smoking in a kid's presence, but if you're smoking to the point where the kid could catch a contact i say that's a no-no. i don't know if it's just bad genes/parenting or what but some of my friends who smoke heavy around their kids have really dumb kids. young kids shouldn't be forced to process a "high" feeling. beyond actually making your kids high i don't see a problem if they see it/smell it or whatever. just don't fishbowl the bathroom with your kids in there.

I'm pretty sure when I was a kid my babysitter gave me marijuana laced soup. My Mom 90% finished the soup, and I had a really bad cold. He let it cook for a really long time, gave it to me and when I asked why it tasted funny he said it was just burnt a little. I remember feeling 100% better, but I don't remember being high but I don't remember anything other than him cooking it for a long time, it tasting funny, and feeling really good. This was before I was even in school

it's just a memory that sticks out and I've always wondered. He could have just forgot about the soup and actually burnt it I really don't know. I just remember not coughing afterwards and my sinuses were all drained out. Its a thought that pops up from time to time
