Really? My leaves don't yellow, not even on harvest day is there yellowing. This is cannabis, not a Aspen tree.lol. K deficiency due to fall simulation... you probably have a cooler temperature at night and you started flushing.
You can google!! Oh good. Well thanks for the correction that's what I meant, sorry potassium. I flush with florakleen, only takes 2 days. I'm hydro I don't flush for 10 days like soilers do. No yellowing or purpling of the leaves. You may find one or two at the bottom of the canopy but its because they're light starved, not showing def. To be honest I flush because its the thing to do guess I'm a sheep, but honestly don't think it affects the quality at all. I've not flushed and haven't seen these myths everyone talks about. Shit best reference would be Uncle Ben, he is avid about not flushing, his point is why take everything from the plant in the last few days of production. I agree. Now that I think about it thanks I'm done flushing. Don't need that shit303, if your weed doesnt yellow or purp during flushing then your not flushing your weed correctly. look at this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potassium_deficiency_%28plants%29 .... K deficiency, not phosphorous..
its a mineral and salt leeching meant to flush your medium of excess minerals. you can clean your res with clear rez. urgod i'll just agree to disagree with pretty much everything you have to say on these forums. peace303. i am running aeroponics... i still flush 1-2 weeks. florakleen doesnt clean your plants, it cleans your reservoir. it takes 1-2 weeks for all the nutes to leech out of your plants and florakleen helps it by cleaning your hydroton/rockwool.
dnoob- your flushing might have caused the deficiency. for normal flushes i would still give them 1/4 nute just to be safe. your aphids is an imminent problem and you need to kill it. if you got some bio organisms avaliable i'd mix some H2o2 and water your soil with it and reinnoculate after a day with the bio organisms.
Ok keep flushing your plants for two weeks and continue getting yellow leafs. I'm good on that thanks. Done arguing, read the sigthink of where your salts are going then you will have an answer. you think your plants are going to absorb the florakleen? the ionic cleaner your adding isnt absorbed by the plants... your plants is only going to absorb your water and flush out the excess salts inside of them until equilibrium of the solution and the plant is reached. its basic science... er
My purple erkle purples real nice with nice green leaves. Its not the leaves that purple its the bud itself due to the genetics. My bud doesn't smell like ammonia, that's crazy. Read this post from UB.. You can't argue a legend. And for you to say the flush makes the bud purple takes all your credibility, that's just not how it works.i am not arguing with you in any way shape or form. i am just trying to let you know that you should flush longer or you will never have those purps and your bud will always smell like ammonia
The vendors who use charts and other "aids" have designed their marketing methods/sales pitches to make you dependent on them. Confusion and the never ending need for another additive or booster is their game. They don't want you to become wise to their lies or they lose a customer......and a liter of watered down snake oil is a lot to lose in sales.
Only experience will guide you on how you're doing. Leaves should be a nice green with no chlorosis. With any plant material, if the new set of leaves (branches) are smaller than the previous ones, you got problems and most times their root health related.
If you push your plants and they stress out as reflected by leaf bronzing, burn or premature necrosis the damage has been done and can not be reversed.
IMO, the following cross I grew is what you should strive for regarding leaf color and foliage mass. Focus on the production and maintenance of leaves and a robust root system until harvest. Don't flush, it's a stupid practice (to be blunt). Forget about the buds, they will come if you support the overall health of the plant. It's nature's way.
Good luck,
Uncle Ben
