lol, if your saying that during fall, its not natural for foliage to change colors? its temperature drop that affects the uptake of potassium. how do you simulate that effect without doing nothing? purple urkle purples because its genetics... i am talking about plants without the purple genes.

UB grows in organics... you dont have to flush for organics... on the other hand if u use genhydro or AN you probably should flush.

I flushed yesterday, am using roots organic hpk 0-5-4 and roots organic buddha bloom 0.5-2-1.5, with some calmag with RO....the ph tester is vague and only shows broad range,,its one of them 2 prong things, needle is right under 7...the water quality in santa cruz is pretty good.
Can't expect a plant to retain leaves by providing low amounts of N, soil or otherwise. Little to no N = sorry leaves = sorry yields. Don't buy into the bloom foods hype....... embrace proper plant nutrition for leaf maintenance (which vendors do not practice).

Second, when you flush, you flush out the most important macro quickly regarding leaf maintenance - N. It's like adding salt to a wound.......

You have a choice - follow the hype or keep your plants nice and green and healthy until harvest.

I live in colorado, we've had record highs the last 2 weeks, its been summer like, does that make the aspens not turn yellow? No. Its the days getting shorter. Temp has nothing to do with fall and the plants outside and they're potassium intake. Think about it, where did you hear cold temps encourage potassium intake, that's simply untrue. If you got your plant to turn purple due to extreme cold, you're stressing your plant. Purple genetics are purple genetics, that purple erkle I have flowers start purpling at week 5, with my temps at 85.
