Solyndra was promised loans of up to $535 million under a guarantee program authorized by Congress as part of the 2009 stimulus package. The Energy Department has made more than 40 promises of guarantees, of which Solyndra was the first. It has committed $18 billion in guarantees and expects to allocate several billion dollars more by the time the program finishes at the end of September.

Are you serious? Who cares? I do. As a "right winger" I took the time to learn the language I speak and write. As a learned individual, who writes technical documents, it's EXPECTED of me that I have a certain command of the English language. It is expected that I can articulate myself in an concise manner so that I can convey and disseminate information.

Who cares? I do? When I "read" what an individual posts, it offers me insight as to what that individual is all about. When I read post(s) from an individual who consistently abuses the English language, it speaks volumes...to me at least.

I'm an American and I speak English (and a smattering of German). I have taken the time to learn how to properly use it. I expect others to do so as well. Especially those who decry foreigners for not speaking English. If you were my son writing as you do, I'd be bitch slapping your ass two days into tomorrow.

English...learn it, spell it, speak it.
