Whats better hps or hid??

They're one of the same. HID high intensity discharge describes MH and HPS lamps. Use both at the same time for all grow stages if you can. Otherwise for single light gardens MH is for veg and (maybe for some) early flowering. HPS for flowering.

Yep, +1 to what has already been said, HPS is a type of HID. I'd say get a 5500k MH for veg and a HPS for flower

Hey guys don't pick on Doser. Hes a Diamond in the Rough to a True Troll. I once was nieve.. .gaining Banishments & infractions by FDD in my -1k post days.. Do not mind him.
