I want to spend my life doing this on the side and eventually I want to make my own crosses with SSH mothers/fathers as one of the base strains of my program. I imagine this will take around 5-10 years. In the mean time, I'm gonna be making F2 of these this cycle so I never have to buy SSH beans again.
I don't know what other strains I'm gonna choose to work with but one I am sure of is MNS Nevil's Haze. I've seen another guys program in a thread called "Neville's Haze x everything" where he crossed Nev's haze with a bunch of strains like East Coast Sour Diesel, Chem Sister, Coastal Collision and I think a Chemdog and basically what happened was you got giant football sized buds of chemdog, or whatever you crossed it with. It was insane. I think they said some of the electric Nev's Haze high was came through too. So you were completely obliterated stoned, but completely awake. Check it out.

Yeah, one is budding already in the nodes just below the top ones. It's the fastest flowering one so far. Do you want me to name the plants based on the look or the high? Cause I'm gonna keep the best one and that might not be the fastest flowering or prettiest one. You know what? Do you want to name the fastest flowering plant or the biggest one? Pick a name, and when it's all said and done, I'll still name the keeper kev or something haha.

Hey kitty! I've been meaning to ask you; Know that I've switched to baverb my eyes are kinda funky when I come out of the grow room. What do you do to protect your eyes from the uv and the light? I love weed, but I don't wanna go blind because of it!

i found it takes more of a deliberate effort not to look right at the baverbs until you get used to it (like, if you're used to them hanging above you but suddenly they're in front of you, etc).

I hear you about those seeds. But if you can get them to germinate, I like them better than working with clones personally, although I really wanna get my hand on a Grand Daddy Purps [GDP] clone. I know they're all over the place in cali but I'm not plugged into the cannabis underground clone-scene like that. What kind of bagseed you alking about? Is it from bags of 'sexy mexi' or are they from bred strains? lol Hell, that mexican shwag weed can be pretty good when you grow it right.
I'm a guy name 'Uggy Douggie' at the hydroponic store a few weeks ago. Peeple from Vegas might know the name. He's a local grower and he used to own a popular dispensary in Vegas called 'Completely Legal'. He gave up after his shops got raided, but he's got a strain he bred himself with some Skunk#9 (???) and something else, but it's awesome. He got that and blue dream. I'm hoping I can somehow get my hands on one of them if he would give/sell me one. He ex-Hell's Angels so he's a character to say the least, but he seems to like me for some reason as he gave me his phone number after only talking to him for 10 minutes at a hydroshop.
Blue Dream would be my first choice. Something about that smoke that's just enchantingly, devastatingly beautiful to me. His 'Hillbilly Skunk' would be my second choice. GDP is something I'm gonna get my hands on someday. I'm never upset when I get GDP, plus I need a purple strain to start my stable.

in my city there is alot of mexy type schwag, but i got these off a guy who generally sells higher grade mid. he has no idea where its from. i got a shit ton from him so i have hundreds. my thinking is ill use these as my experiments, and order from a seed bank to get some good fruity strains, or some nice WW something thats hard to find here. found a guy with white rhino but it looked like my bagseed shit. lmao not sure if thats good for me or bad for him. im sure there are other growers here but im not sure if its done right. i know with what ive learned from here and my garden ill have some nice stuff.

What's up folks? My body's glowing off some weed-cookies I made a few days ago and man I'm feeling good. They turned out really good so yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and pat myself on the back for that one hehe. Anyways, forgive me if I fuck up a few word here and they're (<-like that). I'm typing this thing with one eye close and falling asleep lol. The next thing I'm trying to do is find somewhere that sells food-grade glycerin so I can make a tincture. That way I can make anything medicated. I have the two WWxBB plants that I'm planning on using because they hermied lightly and pollinated some of it, so there's a ton of tiny seeds in some parts of the plant. And besides, the smoke just wasn't that great.
I decided to name my plants yesterday so I better document their growth for use in my future breeding project. The females I have are already starting to display characteristics unique to each one.
Sara AKA Big Bertha
The first one is Sara. She was a waitress at the restaurant I was a cook at. Naturally we flirted all the time, and eventually we hooked up. Sara was a tall, amazonesque woman. She had the curvy, full figured body of a grown ass woman. She wasn't daddy's little girl anymore. She was about 26, and I was 23 or something, so she'd always get a laugh at my expense! She liked to talk shit, but it was funny. Our back and forths were really sexy. She was always horny after a good conversation. I loved her sense of humor. When we did hook up, I found out that kitty had claws. She was a freaky lil' with toys and handcuffs. She like to be choked during sex, and I'm a closet freak too, so I was game. I went to work one time with so many bites and bruises on my body, that people thought I was strangled or mugged. It ended when things started getting too serious and she got scared. I named her the tallest one with the thickest stem, and claws... (clawed leafs lol). She's exhibiting the most sativa/haze characteristics in that she's highly sensitive to fertilizer. She has the longest thinnest leaves, wide internode spacing, and she's also the tallest. If I'm right, this one will go the longest.
Edmonda AKA The Pretty One
The next girl was never really mine, but she was my first 'love,' so she'll always hold a special place in my heart. I put love in quotes because I fell in 'love' with her in high school. Looking back on it now, I can see that my love was based on childish ideas, and that at most I was probably deeply infatuated with this girl, but at the time, I thought I loved her. All the girls I liked were pretty in someway, but this girl was pretty by any standard. She was part Navajo Indian so it gave her an exotic look that I adored. To me she was perfect. Like this plant looks. I liked her in 7th grade before she hit puberty and was fat, and had a wide, oily face. Before she was popular.
The summer before high school she hit her growth spurt and when she showed up the first day, it was like another person. She transformed into this beautiful, cocoa skinned, raven haired goddess. Needless to say, all the guys fell for her and she was swept away from me by popularity and the beautiful life. She'll was always the funny looking girl that lived one street ahead of me on the school bus schedule though. I'll never forget her.
The plant is definitely the best looking one of the group. I has the most symmetrical, healthy green growth, and the tightest internodes of the three. It's also the smallest of the three standing 8 inches tall and the fastest, most prolific flowering one. The leaves aren't shaped exactly like and indica, but they don't look totally like a sativa either. I'm hoping that this will be the short flowering, skunk or NL leaning pheno that I'm looking for.
Kev's Beeotch
The last one is my favorite one, and the one i let Kevin Murphy name. I like this one because it's displaying characteristics that make it look like the best mix of skunk, northern lights and haze in one. It's growing nice big, long thin leaves that aren't contorted or discolored. It responds well to chemical fertilizer which is a nice option. No matter how good a grower someone is, no one wants to grow a difficult plant that has one problem after another. I like this one the most so far because it's not finicky. It's easy to grow, and it's big. The branch growth looks like it's going to be vigorous also. It's a big plant also which is good now that I only have three. I have high hopes for this one.
The Boy's Club
These are the boys of the group that I'm keeping to make f2 seeds. I cut them above the second internode to get four main colas and keep the plants bushy and small. I tested the technique on the males because I plan to do it to the females also, but I was discouraged by the result. The strain doesn't take as well to topping as I've seen in other plants. It was slightly shocked and took a few days to start growing again. The good thing though is now they've picked it up again and the four shoots are growing at normal speed. I guess if I'm gonna do this to the females, I might as well do it soon...
More Lights
When the plants get tall enough, I want to put them in a scrog and stack the lights on top of each other, but for now, I added 2 more 68w CFLs on the grow room for a total of 540w. I have them on a splitter attached to the timer so they all turn on at once. Maybe a little ghetto, but I like it!
Atmosphere Control
I was concerned about stale air in the grow room and also the heat now that I've added another 140w to the little room, so I made a few small tweaks to see how the room's atmosphere changes, and the plants react. I turned the blower around so that instead of sucking hot air out of the bathroom, it blows cold air into the it. I turned the bathroom vent fan on to suck air out of the room, and I still have a little fan blowing straight on the HPS bulb. I'm happy to say that the temperature only went up 1 degree after adding the extra bulbs and making the exhaust/vent changes.
