thanks man, I'll be sure and keep all of you posted... I watered her for the first time today. i never used this much soil in one container, so i wasn't sure how much to give her. i didn't want to soak her, so i went just enough to feel the material get damp... it was kind of cool to be able to feel the bottom of the container for wetness!! huge plus there!!!!
Stoney quick question I see ur growin with cfls and I'm doin the sane thing I was wondering how long do u veg ur plants what is the height of them when u begin to flower...I jus don't wanna veg fir too long and then wont have enough light
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my grow!! I wsh RIU would let me edit the first page.... I don't grow with CFL's anymore. I now grow with all LED's. Nothing really changed though, my times are sill the same. But when i did veg with all CFL's i would veg about 4-6 weeks after the clones rooted and were transplanted. they are about 14"-24" at this point. If they are very bushy they only get about 12" tall then i flower them. The key with CFL's is keeping the all around the plant because penitration is not good. just keep em close and flower with 2700K and they work great!!! they grow monster hard buds!!!! CFL's ain't no joke!!! and you can add 100 watts at any time for $10!!!!
Thanks for stopping by and take some rep with ya!!!
Hear that man.... Bent at 90 degrees and topped an you've got the start of some nice tips
You know me I'm a super croppin fiend, I can't NOT do it lol. She's looking very healthy so far

another great idea, ill be waiting on the update.
Thanks AV!!!
Milk crates are sweet as hell aren't they? They're awesome because you can stack them nicely and even out your canopy to get max light penetration. I only have one in my box but I could use a dozen lol. Wal Mart eh? I think I'm gonna check that out thanks stoney! Still don't have a dollar tree hat, wonder if they still have them? My bubble gum might like one.
so far, so good!!! I haven't found anything negative about the yet.... but yea, walmart. they are in rollback right now!! hahahaha not a very good choice in color... mostly pink!!
Stoney! what's up man? I need a little electrician advise
The wiring from my ballast to my igniter is only about a foot and a half long, and is forcing me to keep my ballast inside of the closet. I know it probably isn't a very complex question, but what kind of wires should I ask for when I go to the home improvement store? My temps average about 88-90 in my box right now, which keep my DWC res temps at and average of 82 :/

I wasn't real sure if the second pictures was necessary, but I went ahead and threw it in there anyway. √
that should be an easy and cheap one to fix... i agree getting your ballast out of the grow room is a must!!! I'm glad you took the second pic... it showed me that the wire is stranded and not solid core ( at least i hope the mfg wouldn't have used a wire nut to connect stranded and solid together!) but what you want to get is standard power cord. i suggest getting a 12/3. that stands for 12 guage(AWG(american wire guage)) three conductor. I know your ballast only uses two wires but the metal conduit acts as a ground wire. so when you replace it, you won't need the conduit just three conductor wire. you will use the third wire to ground the two together (I'll go into detail if you need more help on this) you should be able to get 20 foot out of that size. if you need to go further you might want to look at 10/3. If the extra cost is manageable for ya, then just buy the 10/3. it will be safer. you might need a few wire nuts that are big enough to connect the two.
