Nirvana Blackjack Day 50 flowering PICS:) 400w, soil/tent grow

Just thought I would post some pic of my Blackjack on day 50 of flowering. I had to pull them out of the tent for some TLC and to tie up a few limbs

and thought it would be a good time to take a few pics.
Heres a run down on my setup.
400w mh/hps
FFOF & Light warrior soil mix
Nutes: Fox Farms Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Heavy Weight, Bat guano
RO Water w/cal-mag plus
Growlabs GL120 tent (48x48x7
4 gallon Air Pots

Thanks for looking.......this has been a great grow so far, and these babies are getting real stinky. I still have at least a few weeks to go and will post some more pics at harvest time

Air-pots are a type on container for planting, as you can see in the pic the air-pot has a egg crate like inner and outer shape, it also has holes at every endent of the pot. These pots keep plants from getting rootbound, as the roots can not circle the inside wall of the pot due to its shape, the roots grow to the outer edge then once they are exposed to the air through the holes in the sides the roots are purned (by the air)....hints the name air-pots. They also let oxygen into the soil and help reduce the issue of overwatering/root rot. This is my second time using them, and I was very impressed by the root mass on my last grow. The roots were nice and white and seemed to be larger in diameter (than I see with standard pots) with NO root circling at all. The only neg- thing I can say is if you top water your plant you have to water slowly......so the water doesnt pour out the holes in the sides.

I use R/O water with cal-mag plus added at every watering

OH my ! thats beautiful!! i applaud nirvana genetics too!! im considering ordering black jack.... i have a blackberry about 3 weeks into veg right now, along side a chrystal the same age(same size approx too!) they are both feminized and super healthy. i just harvested some white castle, one plant. only germed the seed originally because it was cracked and didnt want to get ripped off, but it grew into a beautiful somewhat sativa dominant white castle beauty. sweet fruity taste stong high. yur blackjack will be amazing by the looks of it WAY TO GO!! +rep
