what a fool i was to quit my job to grow full time without investing $100,000. surely i am screwed.

one would have to be CRAZY not to run 20k watts worth of light and grow 100 pounds, as we all know pounds of weed sell for $12.99.

there is no way my 2500 watts and pc fans could ever produce enough for me to be self sufficient. ignore me, i am just a figment of your imagination.

lol my Nutes were over $200 , and my dirt mix is close to $200. And I anit doing anything big..

$300 for a HID light, reflector,balast, bulbs,
you need timers, power strips, light hangers, ph up and down, thomometers, 30x microscope, good ventalation,

If you want to do it as a Job, i would say get a 24x24 garage, with 4 1000 watters on light movers.

i dont get how you paid more on nutes and dirt than an hid?????

lol you need about 100k to start up to do it for a living
most guys i know growing for a living are doing it in 30x60 + areas, with 20,000w+ of lights and around 18,000cfm of airflow...
not to mention, when you grow 100lbs... you think its safe to sell that amount?

its just not an area of feasible employment without some really crooked friends...

lol is that 100k including buying the house you gonna grow in if yes then that makes sense.............in FL ounces go for $300-400........ ive never grown big but im sure with about 3 grand i could start making 2 pounds a month thats a decent tax free living were im from...............

Depending on where you live you can actually make a good living doing this, but it is a lot of work and time invested. If you already have a room or garage your halfway there. The expensive part will be the setup - lights, fans, nutes, clones or seeds, etc. I know a family that has a co-op and they make a good living off of their summer yields, and it is all legit!

your the one who attacked me you dumb shit. and we live in very different areas. a pound of bud here is only worth 12-1500 so with a 100k investment (and ive seen ALOT of those around here) growing 100lbs only yields 140k Before expenses, split that between the 4 guys working the show and all of a sudden your not making very much money are you?

oh and by the way this was never about being able to manage to pay bills you dumb fuck, it was about working FULL time as a grower... something you wouldnt know a thing about.

your right ive never had to grow 10 plants at a time i grow for me i got tired of my friend calling a friend then calling his mom to get that FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then they knock on my door with garbage..........other than that i make plenty of money at my job now so dont need to grow massive amounts of pot........but if i wanted to im sure i would not need more than $1500 to $3000 depending on how fancy i wanted to get and how much fabrication i did my self....ohh almost forgot FOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Yes lol i am saying just that, well except the light part. But as for a filter/fan combo for even a 3200 sq ft room you should need more then 3-4 which usually run around 250$ each and there good for a few good months for sure, as for nutes. Say your running hydroponics drain to waste set up with 99 plants. thats gonna be about 175gallons of water every so often. hydroponics nutes are usually 11ml per gallon so if you do the math here 175x11=1925ml 1.92L thats almost half a gallon of nutes And nutes arent cheap so yes it will add up greatly quickly. I really don't wanna be tossing nute brand names on here or prices because there is sooo many different shapes, sizes, prices in nutes. But look up house and garden A&B is about 33$ a liter.

I understand that and good on you for having a good job with todays economy. But many peoples jobs especially in California consist of being in this industry which can also be a very well paying job
