Agree 100%. I do not know how the debt ceiling law ever got passed with Section 4 of the 14th. Obama should play that card, imo. Sure, he'd get a lot of heat for raising it now when he voted on debt ceiling issues before but he's getting heat anyway. It is Congress' Constitutional Responsibility to pay our debts without question. If we default on our debts, Congress will have failed to meet its Constitutional Duties as laid out in the 14th Amendment. The question is, what happens to the Speaker of the House for failing to do so? Jail time? Impeachment?
The Republicans are not only NOT compromising they have vowed that they never will. You really need to ask who is not compromising enough? Really? Huh..........
When you say "he" you mean Obama?WTF? We are not borrowing but 40 cents on every dollar we spend. Hell find some other dumbass country we can borrow from. WE got to spend.
That might be hoping that people see the Dems as "raising taxes" but that hasnt worked so far, and probably wont in the future.......Look at the polls, an overwhelming amount of Americans SUPPORT raising taxes on the top bracket and closing corporate loopholes.yep. No tax increases is a dealbreaker... The Republicans are hoping the people think those god damn whiny libtards are seen as trying to raise taxes but most people think tax breaks for oil companies, corporate jets, etc are bullshit and should be dropped. In the end, the average American will see this as Republicans defending the interests of the rich IMO.
When you say "he" you mean Obama?
You mean he'll borrow $ to pay for the unfunded Bush tax cuts and his 2 unfunded wars?
Yeah, damn Obama; cleaning up someone elses mess.
Just wanted to make sure to save that. It is classic. The Mentality just SCREAMS!ESAD did not say "he" dumbass, Bush bashing a'hole. And odumbass can't his own ass why don't you help him, looks like you could.

I'll start worrying about the value of the dollar when those that have all the dollars stop trying to acquire more. I highly suggest that you do the same.either way you look at it how can they pay it pulling money out of there Ass gets pretty bad when eveyone says well they'll pay for it its in the constitution lmaooo congress as well as the president dont have a pot to piss in the american dollar isn't worth wiping your ass any more wwhy is that ???? ahh lets just make more money how can you pay for something when usa is litterally check kiteing
with all american manufacturing lost there exports gone
China has already said USA has defaulted on there loan agreement by lessening the value of the american dollar or should i say it this way
As the Federal Reserve overprints more money, the money supply inflates, and too much money starts chasing too few goods and services, which means prices go up. But contrary to the charade put on by the Federal Reserve, inflation doesn't just come and go due to some arcane sorcery. The Federal Reserve can halt inflation any time it wants to by simply shutting down those printing presses. It therefore follows that both inflation and recession are fully under the control of the Federal Reserve. Over time, that excess of printing has destroyed the value of that dollar you think you have. If you want to know by just how much, go out and try to purchase 371.25 grains of silver right now. Usually, the deterioration is gradual. Sometimes, it has to be obvious, such as the 1985 devaluation (done to halt the trade imbalance) which triggered the Japanese real-estate grab in this country
I would add that the Fed manages that inevitable inflation by manipulating interest rates (the rate it charges to banks to borrow short-term money). As that rate approaches zero, its clout is diminished.either way you look at it how can they pay it pulling money out of there Ass gets pretty bad when eveyone says well they'll pay for it its in the constitution lmaooo congress as well as the president dont have a pot to piss in the american dollar isn't worth wiping your ass any more wwhy is that ???? ahh lets just make more money how can you pay for something when usa is litterally check kiteing

I actually think you have that backward. Conservative and liberal ideaologies are the bigger picture, and organized parties are subsets of those. Take tea partiers, for example. Many of them do not consider themselves Republicans, but are certainly conservative. Same for Libertarians. You might be closer to the mark where Democrats are concerned, but I still prefer the liberal reference.just off topic why would you have in the poll you have coservatives and liberals. why not have republicans vs democrats. because out of the conservatives or liberals they are part of a bigger picture between dems and reps
