I was just trying to illustrate that your plant should be WAY bigger than that for 50 days.

as stated in the beginning they are under a 150w hps with a standard 16k lumen bulb, i doubt you're going to find a huge ass plant by day 50(which hasn't even came yet so why are you stating my plants are at day 50?) a 150.

lastly, i lst's the damn thing, if i didn't i'm sure it'd be quite larger (not by much but it would be probably 3-5 inches taller)
nothing to get pissy and cry about.

update pictures- their "done veg" date was 6/22 but i suddenly have to go out of town and do some ish so i will allow them to flourish for another 2 additional weeks(maybe 2 1/2) then we start flowering knee-gaaaaahhh!

well it's not, so boo hoo lolz, FF OF supplies the plant with what's needed and i add diluted 1/4 str nutes every now and then just to give it that perk boost.
lastly, impossible for it to be much bigger, 150 with a standard "high yield" bulb dude, no way this thing should've been bigger, then again i (unnecessarily) lst'd which is pointless since i have 5ft of growing upward space and 2 ft wide. >__<

everyone talking about (gey voice):"ooo it increases yield and blah blah for small grow rooms" well wtf would be the point of what i have done to it then? i could've (and will from now one) just toppd and kept it upright. i mean i've seen almost 2 months old plants that are grown outside and they aren't that big, and that's with the suns lumen output- so how "much bigger" should they have been?

yes, and i'm beginning to think that this lst crap is pointless, it just +++time consuming and really pointless for me, if anything i just want ooh idk maybe a few good oz's or least enough to last me to successfully try the plant (maybe 1 1/2 - 28 +14 =42g's is enough fo me to ay i have sampled this and give me review on it), my new order of seeds should arrive soon and i can just flower these and get it over with, im despising lst so could i veg til 18 inches-24 inches(expectations from a 150 and a 400, i'm undecided should i really go for the 400) then flower?

give me a little insight my friend, i shall come back for (hopefully) some good words.
oh and 2 more ?'s before i go, i am using miracle grow nutes for azaleas and whatever 30/10/10 fo veg and when it flowers all purpose plant food which is 15/30/15, is it really necessary to go spend 60+ dollars on some nutes from the hydro store o am i alright with these?-i've seen people with small plants that crank out massive colas which im sure is from nutes.

last question is what can i yield (both from 1 x 150whps compared to a 1 x 400whps) vegg'd at 18inches compared to 24[2ft]? =D

Then you're thinking in the wrong direction. LST can easily add an ounce to a 2 plant harvest. Definitely worth the effort to me.

Be careful with those nutes, not mj friendly. The time release nutes can bite you mid way through the grow

can get that 150w hps within 2 inches of that plant (check with your hand first lol) with a small computer fan pointed directly at the bulb. (grow alot faster, just need to watch it, so if you are going away, place it further away)=

but 4 inches would be good if you are around and heat is too much othervise (hps fries leafs to a crisp in a fraction of a second at touch)

btw, just because its a runt.

last runt i had, tiny thing, fantastic smoke and the taste and smell, mmmm like candy, so of course i revegged it and second time around i managed to get it twice as big (its a keeper, gonna reveg it again later)

If your looking to get more out of your grow, you need to veg it more. Once you choose to flip it to flowering, the plant has stopped getting bigger and will only focus on bud production.
LST is not worthless. It produces multiple cola's instead of a cola and the rest being popcorn nugs.
I reccommend the 400w HPS, but only if you don't burn your plants when you first get it, you have to be able to control your temperatures.
I only fertilize in soil once the plant has been in it at least a month. I want it to use up most, if not all of the soil provided nutrients before I start forcing nutrients upon it.
I have no experience with your fertilizers, but as long as you don't overdo it, any fertilizer should work well enough.

Naa, i made sure i didn't grab the time released crap- especially since i'm on a schedule and i can't be playing it dodgy.
it's the standard ( i think? ) a 1/2 tbs per 2 qts? idk but when i feed i read (ha nice rhyme)

really...ounce? no way- and how much longer should i vegg a plant that's a month old and is starting lst?- when i did mine, it was about 3 1/2 weeks i think and it's been almost like a month and the stalks and branches are just now getting thick and heavy

ok ok, i see what you mean now, that does make more since to have bigger more vigorous colas instead of one big main and tiny popcorns, that makes it worth it to me- i thought it was meant to grow the same as without doing lst (one main and some popcorn colas) but just for smaller grow areas. i guess (had a feeling) i was reading wrong information and shitty methods.

i've been reading that ff of provides 7 weeks of nutients, but lady at the desk said 2 weeks at most, like who the fuck is right? is she trying to get me to come back and buy some overpriced shitty nutrients or are people on the internet truly just some nerp derps? :3


Light wise, ok, one final question about lights, more lumens = more growth correct?- but people would buy 2 150s instead of 1 400, so wouldn't they be losing light/growth? D:

lastly, what do you mean you fert the soil once? i tried that (at the provided date of nutes being used up in ff of) and it provided nothing but some pretty significant burns. >__<

If you planted your seeds straight into FFOF then I wouldn't worry about fertilizing for about 4-6 weeks, depending on how fast the plant grows.
Seedlings don't have the roots system needed to absorb all the nutrients yet, so you have to be sure the plant is already strong enough to absorb the existing nutrients before you bother adding more, and when you do add, to not hurt the plant you can start at half strength or quarter strength nutes. Enough to keep it alive and happy without over forcing the plant.

yes yes of course- so then the first 2-4 weeks the plants hardly use any of the nutes so it should be good all for least another month or two eh-

Yooo- lolz, left for the trip out of stated to S.Carolina, Virginia, Florida, and back forthing for some ish- well see what the babies look like when i return- they are in pure sun light, outside, and are in a position that gets a lot of sunlight but is mostly covers (at angles) so i am not worried about outside crop grow cops :3

Just heard from a bud that my plants are now 1ft tall, holy shit balls, that's a deff an increase for only 1 1/2 weeks being left outside- suspiciously though my "one of a kind" kush seed plant is "missing" as if it was never there. He's adamant about it because his friend supposedly mixed tons of kushes to get i doubt it just mysteriously vanished.-

somethings up. loll. so now that they are "one foot" tall what's the newly suspected yield now MR's?

i'll be home in another week or two. can't wait to see my baby, oh- florida sucks balls, only good thing is i get to run around a track to relieve some stress- i gots no weed left T_T smoked it all on the long fucking trip that lasted about a week >__<

my fav place now is virginia, that place is so cool and awesome and homey feeling- might move their instead of upper michigan, what you niggs think? anyway, sotuh Carolina was pretty warm and ehhh, my brother graduation from the national gaurd bootcamp and now the nigs in some ish called AIT- bla bla training, advanced instructed training or some bs like that- can't wait for the marines within the year (moved up from a a few months cause i wanna grow out my other weed and smoke it before i do any military career seeking)
