He's still spoken out against the emancipation proclamation, Lincoln, and the north's involvement in civil war. He thinks we should have let slavery keep going and it would have eventually ended on it's own. Even if that were true, that's an incredibly fucked up way of thinking. Letting slavery continue for even one day is an abomination to humanity. I don't understand how anyone could possibly support someone who has that opinion.

Im a Marine as was my father and his father too. I supported us being in Afghanistan to get OBL and his cronies. With him gone I believe its time to go. Im not into the notion of nation building.
I was against us going into Iraq from the start. Theres was no need.

I'M a Marine too, I never supported the war. Mostly because there was no actual evidence that OBL had anything to do with 911, That and I knew they would not find jack shit for WMD's in Iraq, they were using 911 and the WMD excuse to go to war, a war longer than any other one we have ever been in.

so i had an omelet, now i am headed out to have lunch with a friend/former boss who is moving to canada. another customer lost, but more importantly, a great friend.
we plan on having a few beers in the sun at the local pub.
