prettttttttttttttty much

It's like the dude with duct tape on his bong, telling you that you could have saved the $100 you spent on glass....

I enjoy my herb iron, and will enjoy it for years to come... A quarter of weed costs around the same price, and would only last me a week...

Am I a sucker paying for flawless performance? I never buy things twice, because I buy the right thing the first time. I'm going to give my bong, and my herb iron to my kids when weed is legalized on a national level.

And what will the haters give their children in the years to come? A broken - $10 home depot soldering iron - and a cardboard box full of empty bics?
lol@ 10 dollar home depot soldering iron and cardboard box . . . .

it's about investment... just like me buying a 90 dollar zong over 2 years ago... I haven't had to replace it, it's well outlasted it's worth... other people couldn't imagine payingn that much for a bong... but because of how long t his bong has lasted me, I can imagine paying 300 dollars for a good bong easily....

but man I need to invest in some bee-line... no money for that shit right now but man I could use it....

If you spend money on high end glass, like Sr. or myself, or like many many people do on this site, that money is worth it to us. We don't mind spending top money on our bud smoking, cause it is something that is important to us. I will be getting a herb iron this summer, when cash isn't as tight. To each there own I guess

yeah I think I'll invest in some good glass when moneys good, for now that will be a long time yet.... I can hardly afford to invest in some beeline... let alone a 350 dollar bong...

LOL... You tools.

I get just as baked, high, medicated with my soldering iron and duct tape bong (sarcasm) then with your Herb Iron and a $1200 Roor ash catching filtered bubbly ice chilled co2 injected super whippy whip bong.

My question to begin with.. was what makes this different then a soldering iron because lets face it thats all it is with slight modifications (some creative and some hyped by stoners).

Now I am no troll but when provoked we can do some trolling.

I'm not sure honestly, all I know is this thing cherries and gets red hot, soldering irons do not....

sure you get the same high, but with nicer pieces the hits are smoother, easier to get a nice high with bigger hits that are better filtered... but not a ridiculously huge loss for those who can't afford an expensive piece under any circumstances..but for those who can save up, it's worth the investment.

Nice post..

however, I've been using a soldering iron for a long time to "light" the bowl. I mean, it works great.. and makes the bowl last 3x as long as it would, when compared to smoking a bowl with a regular lighter.

Nice post though man.. thanks.

peace.

I think it's kinda lame comparing a soldering iron that has potentially toxic chemicals to something that was actually /built/ to be used like this.

last I checked soldering irons didn't have a glowing ceramic tip, nor do they (usually) have a one button push 10 second heat up deal.

but if you prefer it thats cool, I just think it's kinda lame that you'd come into this thread basically saying that the herb iron is no different from a soldering iron.

I respect your opinion man, and I compared it to a good ol fashion soldering iron in the OP. You have NO control over the heat, you have to plug and unplug your device to make it heat up or cool down, and frankly, its a fire waiting to happen.

I could go on and on, but I will agree a soldering iron is STILL better than using a butane lighter....but shit for the extra $$$ a HerbIron is 100X than a soldering iron.
