Trump scares me as well but not because I think he has a ghost of a chance of getting elected (or nominated for that matter), he frightens me because if he runs as a independent he will pull votes away from a perfectly viable GOP candidate a-la Ross Perot. While he has thus far not truly shown his political stripes I also have other concerns with this guy. His proposal for a flat, 25% excise tax on all Chinese imports gives me the willies.

We wouldn't want that now. It's be another 2000 election all over again. :) Let's get that 82yo man in our highest office. ;)

Trump is suggesting we aquire oil wells form other Countries.. LOL

I missed this run up.

The Comment was that Trump represents the boundary of right wing extremism.
That as he is playing his bit that he will act as a moderator for the other candidates.

Thanks for the thread.. I has missed this.. Very Funny..

I just wonder when we, as a nation, decided that businessmen were the best people to run this country? since when does knowing how to be a bloodthirsty scumbag equate to good leadership skills? It's mayor time in Dallas & the candidates keep touting all this business experience that doesn't mean shit to me. I'm really unclear how the lines between business and govt have become so blurred. saddening actually.

Did you even read the article? Or were you just hoping you'd toss it out and see if it sticks. lol

Paul told CNN's "The Situation Room" Thursday that he didn't write any of the offensive articles and has "no idea" who did.

"When you bring this question up, you're really saying, 'You're a racist' or 'Are you a racist?' And the answer is, 'No, I'm not a racist,'" he said

"I do repudiate everything that is written along those lines," he said, adding he wanted to "make sure everybody knew where I stood on this position because it's obviously wrong."

None of the newsletters CNN found says who wrote them, but each was published under Paul's name between his stints as a U.S. congressman from Texas"

He denies it 100% and there is no proof that he did write it.

What scares me is the United States of America, Incorporated. Mr. Trump in his self may be different in that he has more money than previous president's but frankly he is no different than any other promising politician-criminal. Rise Above! Supporting politicians has gotten us to the state we find ourselves in now....We are so much more than just receivers of laws from some higher power-authority. More than sheep, more than a statistic, more than a number. We crawl on our knees for our government and LOOK WHERE WE ARE AT NOW????? DO WE NEED ANOTHER PRESIDENT? ANOTHER POLITICIAN? ANOTHER ELECTION? WHAT WE NEED IS ONE REVOLUTION!

no I said a wise man can change his mind...don't make yourself look stupid for the sake of wanting to start an argument...big difference in changing ones mind when getting all the facts then someone flip flopping on the issue just to win votes...if you don't know the difference please don't vote...again Trump is fooling only the fools...does he have you too ?????
So you are refuting the Quote as not being yours? Really? So this thread https://www.rollitup.org/politics/424554-vote-ron-paul-great-idea-4.html and Post 126 is not yours? Who was I quoting if it wasn't you?

are you high or stupid..maybe both....first If you don't know the difference between a wise man changing his mind once getting facts or additional facts and someone flip flopping on the issue you need not vote...now it seems like you want to argue so I'm going to give you want you came for .. The Quote is " a wise man can change his mind a fool never does" yes thats what I said and I stick by it...Trump is a con man not a wise man..he is a clown performing...I'm sorry that you think he is a great wise man and you are ready to vote for him, but he is fooling you guys for he will never actually put his hat in the ring..This is only a stunt to get ratings and seal the contract for his show renewal...now I guess you might say " hell that is wise" and I say playing with Americas emotions just to renew a freakin TV show is not wise but selfish and foolish. Further more when you hear him interview and see that he does not understand what privacy interpreted in the Constitution has to do with Roe v Wade shows how unwise he is. The Court decided that a right to privacy under the due process clause in the 14th amendment extends to a woman's decision to have an abortion. now once again "A wise man changes his mind, a fool never"...Now my assumption is you think Trump is a wise man...I don't..being rich don't make you wise.

if you search my started threads, one of them is about ron paul and covers this extensively.

so what if he didn't write it?

he let some really nasty things be published under his name.

i'll have to dig around for that thread.

I question the use of your Avatar. Is that you or are you exploiting the disabled for attention?

in 1999 Trump said he would raise taxes on the ultra wealthy. Not sure if that was before or after he was a republican, but that sounds awesome coming from him. Although he is still republican.. same party who turned down 9/11 first responder health care because of politics so I wouldn't be surprised if he sold his soul to the almighty dollar!!

Its easy to be a wise mouth behind a screen. I am not exploiting anything nor anyone for attention. For the weak minded, I am whatever you say I am.

I am using that avatar to provide a artistic view. To demonstrate pride for America is a false pride, delusional, and egotistical of a society. What did you think I was using it for? Symbolism .....Its Truth via Art!
