man those are super frosty. how are you liking those grow bags? i havent ever used them
I like them cause they are easy to dispose of, and pretty easy to do what you want with them. I also like that you can kind of shape them to the size you want them to be to accommodate your grow space.

So, from the 1/2 gallon pot of NL I just harvested. Just de-stemmed and took down, my dry weight is 18 grams.

What I am getting:
2 gallon pots -> ~30-36grams of dry weight.
1/2 gallon pots -> ~18 grams of dry weight.

So, about 2:1 ratio of yield.....but I believe I can get much more out of each rotation in flower with the smaller pots. As I can more densley pack smaller pots into the cab, and with topping, I can arrange the colas in a way to really get things tight in there.

Final round of topping is done on the JH. I still plan on vegging a lot longer than usual. I usually veg for 30 days. With this I'm already @ day 35, and I'll probably be going at least another 20 days or so.

thiss should be sweet do you plan to lst her?
Nah not really. If I do, it would be just tying down the 4 main branches sooner around the time I put into flower so they'll grow out just a little bit while they're still flexible before they start growing up.

THat Jock looks great dude, what is your nute lineup?
I've since moved from the FF Big Bloom to the Aurora Soil Synthetic Bloom. The guy at the store said he liked it and was an advocate of the synthetic ferts. He could have just been a shill, who knows? But I figured I'd try the synthetic product instead of the FF BB. Although I don't know if the FF is purely organic? But.... the Aurora definitely has a more 'industrial' scent to it. Where the FF surely just smells like something from outside, the Aurora smells like it is doped with man made chemicals.

I can't say what works better, but these JHs have been receiving Aurora exclusively, and these are the frostiest buds I've grown so far, but probably more related to the strain than anything else.

ff is made with organic ingredients but is not entirely organic if that makes sense
Ya, that probably sounds about right. I saw a big thread somewhere about whether it is organic or not, but got exhausted reading with all the back and fourth :)

haha yeah i hear ya. there is a big deference in made with organic materials and completely organic nutes. i was looking into em a few weeks ago at my grow shop and man they aren't cheap. id like to try em someday though. maybe when i build my box ill give in. how much cooler do you feel your cab would run if cooltubed? also your light is long ways and not front to back correct?

Ya, my light has it's longest section parallel to the width of the box. It's offset though, and kinda shitty. I'd like it to light the box more evenly. I will eventually remodel. What I'm planning to do is just get a large piece of plexi or something that can hold light, something flat. And build something to hold it to the light fixture. And have it vent with the exhaust.

I'll also be trying to cut a small section in the top of the box, so that I can raise the light by a few inches. I think with some venting of the light, it would help a lot. Although my box is pretty cool as I have an intake running from outside.

My temp is so variable, it just depends on the temp of the room. If it's cool, the box is cool.

But if I could cool the light with either a cool tube, or what I'm suggesting, I think it would help quite a bit. Can't say how much though?

Here is how I am thinking about modifying my current light. So it is 'kind of' a cool tube. This and raising it up into the ceiling of the box should help quite a bit.
