why big pharmaceutical companies of course, the big reason legalization is not being passed is because said companies have multiple patents for meds being pushed through as we speak, so in turn it will be legal for them to synthesize/ and or use cannabis/thc, when johhny public could simply put a seed in the soil in let it grow...

also not sure if you guys know this but these major corporations are financially backing the dea and so on to keep pot illegal so they can make their muniez off something thats naturally occuring and easily available......

It's a very tricky process that they're using to get this shit through. They are technically patenting the analogs of certain cannabinoids, but the language in the law allows them to obtain them from their natural source instead of synthesizing them. It's pretty fucked up...

Now from a totally legal or lawful aspect...how can the government own patents on chemicals be them natural or synthetic for medical applications when in its own law and language it states the cannabis and cannainoids have no medical use whatsoever as per its schedule I classification?
