Take the idea that deficit spending and bigger government is good and we should do more of it to the polls and see how it works for you. Democrat politics is based on tricking the stupid voter into believing you are something different than you are. Americans don't want to become like France, even though you do.

It's funny because you obviously dont even know (even after I explained it quite clearly) the U.S. was the first to explore these policies and Europe - along with the rest of the developed world - followed the U.S.. It is not the other way around. We are not "trying to be Europe". They saw the success of post Great Depression U.S. and stuck with it. Progress in the U.S., however, was cursed the moment Reagan took office.

I'll leave you with this: The average voter makes much more money than the average American.

Solving the debt issue is really very simple, but politically impossible to implement. Stop spending, that is all that is needed.

Pay as you go. Cut back on defense spending. Fix the tax loopholes for the rich and corporations. Fix the healthcare nightmare with more stringent regulations. Fix the wasteful spending in entitlement programs and ALL government agencies. Invest in public works programs to fix the infrastructure which will create jobs. Give amnesty to the illegal aliens here in the U.S. and start taxing the fuck out of them. They need to pay their share too.

If Illegals want to become Citizens there are ways to do it OFFICIALLY through the proper channels. There are plenty of US citizens who came from other countries, they got citizenship on their own.

It's a tough problem (illegal immigrants). But they're already here and living next door to us and their children go to school with ours (generally speaking). I think Amnesty is the only way to solve it. Not to start a debate but most illegals here have their own business or have a good trade. One of our neighbors is an illegal and he has a beautiful yard with a courtyard and cobblestone walkways. He's a bricklayer. He built his house from the ground up. It looks like a miniature Hacienda. Great neighbors too.

Some Illegals have businesses, but most are illegal so they cannot run a legitimate business, what they run is a Cash based under the radar profit Generator. Some illegals know a good trade, but I would not say most. Your evidence is anecdotal, I think you know that though.
