Hey all finally getting another thread going and within the next few days another grow started.

Like my last grow I will be using my PC case but this time as a Mother/clone box and my new Uhaul box will be for flower.

PC case will have 5 x 26w 6500k CFL's
Uhaul box will have 6x 23w 2700k and 2x 26w 2700k CFL's (will probably add a few more down the road or a couple single tube T5's)

Strains -
1) Hollands Hope x Jack Herer x Shoreline x Herijuana
2) Hollands Hope x Strawberry Cough x Northern Lights
3) Hollands Hope x Dieselberry

Will be germing 1 each once the few minor tweaks to my PC case are finished. Once germed I will veg out till I can take a clone and put in flower box to see if female. If its female we are good if not I'll chop the mother down and germ another. Rinse and repeat till I get a female mother or run out of seeds :) so hopefully the first will happen :bigjoint:

Here are a few pictures of my PC case for those that didn't see my last thread and some of the build pictures of my new uhaul flower box.. Will post some of the complete finished product in its new location when I get everything started.

Now the pc case will look slightly different inside but basicly the same besides I'm moving the 140mm fan to give more room inside case..

was that cfl hood diy? regardless.... shits lookin nice... im not guessin you keep all this in a closet? if so, what are your temps running inside and out of both boxes when on for normal light cycle in both boxes? sorry, if im askin alot.. just curious... im having a hard time keeping my temps low in my closet with both of my boxes ( not including my micro cloner box running, dont even have it together completely yet, but may need iton while others are on in the futue, i may end up putting a window unit in my closet...lol...)... sorry for the rambling sorta real stoned off some fruity ass purp... hi me back homie... im subbed... your gonna do wonders with your current boxes fosho...

lol its all good bro, yeah haven't tested temps yet but its not in a closet.. In my apartment I have a small bedroom but I arranged everything so that the boxes are stealth and unless you get all the way in my room you can't see anything, and even if you do the only thing you can see is the front of the pc case and it just looks like a pc lol.. Will be putting a window unit in my room this year to keep temps in room at 70 so the boxes should run around 77-83 I'm assuming since thats what the pc ran last time.. Uhaul box I'm going to get turned on in the next day just to test temps and see if I need another on of those Honeywell fans from lowes.. If I do I'll run the second fan on the timer so that it doesn't run at lights off.. We'll see :) only time will tell..

I'm really excited about these strains, if they look familar its cause there our home boy SICC's hybrids bongsmilie Can't wait to get these growing so I can see how these strains buds look..

On a side note if I get a male I might flower it out to collect me some pollen :) and create F2's cause I'm assuming there only F1's but if not correct me SICC..

im in monk, very nice man, i think i like the fan out the top like that. sorry if i missed it, but where is the intake? passive or fans.

If you look at the 4th picture at the bottom right inside the box you'll see the little cover thing I made from cardboard to keep light from getting out throught the passive intake.. Location should allow for air to pass through the plants up and around the light and out the box.. Will try to get some pictures of the finished box.. Will probably add another 7in fan inside the case to blow up at the lights and slightly on the plants.. Will also try to get a better shot of the were the passive intake is at but its at the front right of the box and fan is at the back left of the box.. Hope this clarifies things a bit :) and thanks for subbin up bro

edit: I only believe in passive intake keeps the smell from seeping out everywhere :)

from my experience, intake fans dont work. So when you do temp testing, and you have high temps with intake fans, just try and turn off the intake fans for a bit. Other than that everything looks in good order, minus the lack of green I see in those pics :wink:

Yeah bro I believe in that to bongsmilie both my PC and my UHaul cases are passive intake... with a fan on the inside blowing on plants...

Really really like your Uhaul setup, I'm thinking of building one myself for my next project. I was curious if you could answer a couple questions? What fan are you using and what are you going to use for odor control?

Big ups on the fixture. I always rigged mine from shop lights and surge protectors, but yours looks professional as all hell.

Honeywell 9" TurboForce Air Circulator Fan, I will probably rig something up around the fan out the top of the box and put an ONA can and see if that does it.. Haven't thought much about it yet..

Thanks bro I actually got the idea from a thread on this forum but it used the whole vanity setup and the vanity I got from Menards the top piece was to long for my box so I just used the metal piece that that the sockets were mounted to and zip tied it to the 8" x 24" ducting that I bent and cut to make fit... Got some YoYo pullys off amazon to make it move up and down easy.. Don't need super tall plants so 3 ft is enough for now was bigger then my pc so it works for me.. bongsmilie

Another contender has entered the ring for the next "Box Man" growers title! Nicely put together and though out setup MoNkO! I am digging how you yo-yo'd out the clothes rack for your light fixture. MoNkO taking the box up another notch in the technology bracket...and lets not forget the vornado top fan.

so... correct me if im wrong, butno intake fans? i am in awe... not saying i dot believe ya, cuz i do homies, it just goes against what i thought and (pretty sure) have read.. i may have to try only exhasut and see what my temps are lookig like....
also, sicc, when you make it up to the top with those top notch strains your creatin, holla at ya boy... i.ll help work at "sicc seeds" anyday!
