Lights on temps go to 86, but my temp sensor is in direct light, so air temps may be a little less. But lights out temps dip to 63. That's probably not enough to be a problem, but I am sure they would do better if the soil the roots were in got didn't go below 75. I have a slab foundation which makes my floor a bit cooler than a house with a crawl space. I thought of the aquarium heater but the one I have is a bit big to fit under the perlite in the tupperware. Its suppose to be fully submerged in water to when its on. Don't want to risk anything with electricity.

Hey GB, have you thought of picking up a 4x8 sheet of 3/4" rigid foam for $9.95 at Lowes? Not only could you set the PC's on it but you could probably build a simple box using aluminum tape that you set over the PC cases just before lights out to keep the heat in.

oh no don't use a aquarium heater out of water, i once took my heater out of my 75 gallon tank and the fucker exploded some where around a minuet after i took it out, I'm not kidding freaken blew up glass shards went everywhere, but it had been running for weeks i think the temp difference when i took it out was the main problem, the inside of the bulb got really hot really fast and the out side didn't = boom

WOW, that sounds terrible, I am glad I read AND followed that precaution!!

Glad you liked the video I thought it would be a touch more personal yeah, once I figured out how to make it a touch smaller in size, i think i will always do videos. the wife was in bed sick as a dog, i am having some kind of kidney problems and back spasms, dont know if they are tied together or not. but I am managing the garden

thats exactly what I was thinking, medicating ANYWHERE, inconspicuously but I must stock up on batteries, only downfall. Magic Flight is working on an AC adapter, but it is suppose to be $50 extra. This thing has a lifetime warranty so I can try and make one and if I blow it up, REPLACED i will use batteries for now
