PC Grow - 12/12 FS - White Widow and White Russian

Hey Lince, your recommendation with swapping my intake/outake for outake/outake with passive intake holes helped an incredible ammount. i had to add light to keep it to 75-80*

Sorry if any of this is repeat but i only read your update posts.

Also I saw that your WW and WSib were in clear pots and roots seem mainly towards the bottom.
Also i saw that your other pot wasn't clear. But I heard that clear pots effect the roots. I didnt think so either and swapped it after grows and the roots grow all up around the edges and shit.
Entirely watering and putting something over the soil should keep the top of the soil from drying out too fast and greater root developement.

Indeed your skills have improved though looking at that white Sib...ridiculous. also let me know how that russian goes cause both of those are strains I enjoy.

I like white strains. thinking about going White Castle next grow. WW x White Russian I think.

Careful with the pictures because I do use clear pots but I have them covered with panda film to protect the roots, I just remove the panda film to take the pictures and to check the roots

You're right about the roots, I put another piece of panda film covering the soil because I was gonna be away for a couple of days and now, about a week later I can see that the roots are developing also close to the surface and not only at the bottom, this is great, I should have covered the pots much earlier. Also this time I covered the bottom of the pots which seems to be helping as well The root development of the plants I've got going right now is much better than the previous grows.

About the white russian, there's something wrong with her not sure what it's, maybe temps or ph but most of the leaves are yellow. Anyway just two weeks to go so not much to do right now, we'll see.

White siberian looks really beautiful indeed and both her and ak47 are still growing new flowers which is great because some pistils are already starting to become brown. Hopefully the yield will a bit bigger this time but I'm thinking that I may have reached the limit so depending on this harvest many things will change in the next grow.

Just wanted to let you know that the main grow will be harvested this weekend probably, I'll check the trichs and decide. I already stoped the nutes, giving them just water. To be harvested AK47, White Russian and White Siberian.

Also I'm down to two plants from the germination experiment. They've been under 12/12 from seed but I may switch to 18/06 and see what happens (one has already a few pistils). Never tried reveging so it could be interesting.

Hi there, I'll try to post a full update asap with pictures and details.

Just to let you know, I already have the lowryder seeds but can't plant them yet until I have some space and I figure out how I'm gonna do all the grow, I'll go a little bit more pro with the lowryder grow instead of trying new stuff, will give more info soon. The main goal is to make some seeds and see if they keep their parent's traits so i'll be busy for about 5 months with the lowryders It's gonna be fun!!!!

About the harvest, I was checking the trichomes and I'll probably harvest white russian tomorrow and let ak47 and white siberian go a little longer

So here is the update at 75 days:

The roots are just awesome, the best I've got so far and soon will be time to harvest and know how much I can get with these pots and lights before I make some changes So far each grow has been better than the previous one and I'm sure things will keep improving

Also thinking about the next grow, apart from the lowryders I'm thinking about growing one more plant so trying to decide the strain, I've got the next 3 in mind:

Kali mist
moby dick

2 days old, lil' squirt yet. Plan on topping for 4 main colas as my grow space is pretty small and i'm only running a 150w. Haven't had much luck with grow threads, so not sure if i'll be doing one or not yet.

Sounds like a good plan. I'm sure she'll give you a nice yield with that 150W. I also have an 150W bulb but haven't use it yet, may start in a couple of weeks when I finish current grows

The harvest has been great.

In 3 months got 10.3g out of the pc box and 22.3g out of the cabinet (which is same size as a pc box).

A total of 32.6g

I'll start the next grow in a few days, I'll be growing lowryder #1

So the beginning of the lowryder grow is taking a little bit longer than I thought but I hope I'll start germinating the seeds next week I'm trying to get the pc box ready, changing a fan right now that broke and will probably add another bulb or two if I can find the space for them, will have more details soon.

sine you grew these on 12/12 fromj seed how long did it take for the plant to show sex?

Going 12/12 from seed makes them show sex at around day 21. Are you planing on growing 12/12 ?

1.- Yes, I've grown with 2700k only in the pc box and yes, I'm also growing with mostly white 68W 6500k + 36W 2700k in the other box. I was doing only 2700k in the pc because it was kind of a perpetual grow and when one plant was flowering the other one was growing so ¿which spectrum shouls I use? I decided to use 2700k all the way trough. Also v12xjs (maybe you read about him) was growing with 125W red + 12W white. About the difference, there may be a difference but it's not that big, all the plants I've grown were more or less the same size and the yield didn't change that much either, 5.5 to 7.7 grams (will have more details when I harvest current grows). My advice, if you want more than 7g per plant go with 1 plant and a big pot, veg her for 20-30 days and use white light if you can, if not use worm and you'll be good.

2.- I start LST or trim at around day 20. I think she has to have at least 3 set of leaves.

3.- So far I've allways gone 12/12 from seed because is a good way to go perpetual growing in one box but for bigger yield, you can veg and switch to 12/12 around 7 days before you want her to start flowering. I haven't veg myself but I'll say 20-30 days is a good veg period (may try it next). It also depends on your space and your plans

and don't worry about the questions, I also ask a lot of questions myself and appreciate somebody stopping by the grow

In my case I've never grown an auto strains yet but I'll start growing auto strains in a few days when I get my lowryder #1 seeds. I'm so looking forward to it.

Sounds good and the plant is looking really good indeed. I would like to know how your grow ends so if you can stay around and let me know, I'd appreciate it Got a couple of questions for you as well:

Are you using soil or hydro ?
How many watts are those CLF ?
How many litres/gallon is the pot ?
which strain is it ?

na i neva started one because my cam is broke and i looked at one this morning and its a girl two so thats 2 of 3 so far .. i was debating on if i cud still top it or not though can you top a plant in the beginning of flowering?

You can do whatever you want but it's definitely not recommended. It should be done at least one or two weeks before switching to 12/12.
