The democrats like to characterize the Libertarian and Republican party as greedy, but don't consider themselves greedy.
58% of people who make less than 30,000 a year vote democrat. 40% for republican.
52% of people who make less than 50,000 a year vote democrat. 45% for republican.
52% of people who make 50k-75k are republican. 46% for democrat.
56% of people who make 75k-100k are republican. 43% for democrat.
Is a republican who makes less than 50,000 greedy? Isn't he going to get a bigger benefit from the democrats than the republicans? Why doesn't he vote what would get him the biggest benefit then?
The people who vote republican are saying "We worked for this money, and should get to keep it"
The people who vote democrat are saying "We don't have enough money, and we want some of yours"
Is it greed to want the ability to keep what is yours? Or is it greed to want what your neighbor has because he has more than you?
How can you accuse Republicans of greed and not Democrats? Are not the democrats saying with their votes that they want something that isn't theirs and that they didn't earn?
Also, very interestingly.. on average, democrat voters are poorer than republican voters. However, we hear that democrats are more highly educated than republicans. If more college educated people are democrats, then why do you not see higher income levels in the party? Why are republicans who are less educated in general make more than the democrats? What would cause these numbers? Is it because many republicans instead of going to college took up trades and they all make 50k+ even though they were uneducated in the traditional sense?
