GROW 2011. OG kush #18, Violator Kush, NYC x Sour Diesel, Power Skunk.

:leaf:Here are some of the genetics i have going right at the moment,:leaf:

- Violator Kush.
- OG Kush #18.
- NYC x Sour Diesel.
- Power Skunk.
All started in rock wool starter cubes. No pre-germination bull-crap like paper towel, baggie, etc. Just seed straight into rock wool.
Once sprouted went into FFOF soil.
All are 12 days old. Violater grew into the rock wool all weird, and stunted the growth, that's why its kinda a dwarf atm. But she will catch up.
Base nutrients will be Botanicare.
Eventually im going to 7 gal buckets with a 6-8 week veg, then flowering under 1,400 watts HPS 1x400watt 1x1000watt = 1,400.
So i hope to pull 1.5 pounds at least, plus i will be cloning the shit out of these
for a perpetual harvest.
Currently vegging under a 400watt MH. 24Hrs of light.

Im here brotha I would like to see how that OG #18 turns out. Is that the Reserva Pravada? And I also have one question, how do you plan on pulling 1.5 pounds off of 4 plants? How long are you going to veg them, how tall? Cus that is 6 oz per plant.

Yes, its reserva privada! I plan on vegging for 6-8 weeks eventually moving up to 7-gal buckets, at around 4 weeks of veg i will take multiple clones from each plant. Root the clones veg those for a couple weeks. Then all will be flowered together, clones and the four plants started from seeds. I will take 4-8 clones per plant depending on good nodes that i feel can be lost for some clones.

Ok bro I was wonder just how you were going to get that much out of four plants. I veg for about the same time and the Kush doesn't put out as much as other plants. I also use 7 gal pots, so I would highly reccomend using them for a veg that long, they would get root bound in a 5 gal bucket!

yeah for sure. I will also have about 32 clones that vegged for 4 weeks added to the flower room, in smaller 3 gallon grow bags, all to finish along with the four main plants in the 7-gal containers, for a total of 36 plants.

You should have no problem at all getting 1.5lb off all of them. My clones take about 50 days from the time I clone them to get around 12-16 inches. So I wasn't sure if you were talking about 4 weeks veg starting from the time you clone them or 4 weeks from the time they get roots and you put them in pots. Either way you should have quite the harvest and I will be looking forward to updates and pic's! ;) Like I said I have been kicking around the idea on getting the OG Kush #18 for a little while but to tell you the truth I am not to impressed by Reserva Pravada genetics so far on my Kush grows that I have from them. But we will see when I harvest my Kush plants if what they say about their beans is true.

Will this will be my first time getting any of their genetics. So what kush have you grown by them?
That barneys farm, violator kush gets so top heavy in flower, its a must you stake, or cage your plants!

Currently growing Sour Kush and Cataract Kush. But from what I have read most Kush don't put out much weight but what they do put out is quality shit! On the other hand you can do other shit to them to get them to put out more, like LST, toping, or fim'ing. There are many different ways to get a plant to put out more but to tell you the truth if you are growing to make money you don't have time to fuck around with plants too much! I have some Bubbelicious from Nirvana that I top once they bush out and I get around 1.5 to 2 oz each plant! And those beans are $30 for five feminized. So paying $96 dollars for 6 and they put out 1 oz per plant and you really can't charge that much more it just isn't worth it. I am not saying go get some Big Bud seeds so you can put out a shitload of crap weed and just go for weight, but I am trying to find a good middle ground between quality and production. Kush just doesn't seem to be a big producer to make it worth the extra startup cost of it or time spent growing.

Right now I have two Killing Feilds seedlings. Not fem seeds but they are from Sannies and this is my first try with Sannies genetics but he is supposed to have some really good beans.

Sounds good, From what ive seen and researched, the og #18 is suppose to have a heavier harvest than the og kush, how much more i dont know? But as far as the violator kush, its suppose to be a high yielded plant, both though of astronomical quality. So this grow will be for quality, but also not low yield mid-high yield will be expected. As far as LST, in my grows its blasphemy to not! You can almost always on average expect to double the wieght when a good LST'D plant s flowered vs. a plant that is not LST'D. At least in my experience anyhow. I will begin LSTING my plants in about 5-10 days, depending on undergrowth.
The diesel i have is also a high yield strain, it has a indica pheno, from what i can see.
Its a 30%indica 70% sativa hybrid sativa dominant but high yields.
Power skunk, was free, so dont really know what to expect, other than the info from the breeder.
Never really heard to much about Kannabia. (free seed)

Yeah I have worked with LST on one of my grows and I didn't get much more but I think I fucked it up a lil. I think I didn't wrap it around enough. But I am going to try my hand at LST again on my Sour Kush seedling. She is in a 7 gal bucket right now, I transplanted her about 8 days ago so I was waiting for her to recover from that and now I am going to start bending her around maybe today. Kinda busy today. But make sure you post up some pic's when you start LST'ing your plants I will be interested to see how ya do it. I know you don't have much updates cus they are still seedlings but I will be watching brotha!

Believe it or not, i will be updating tonight with more pics. Just gave the ladies, 25 PPM, Liquid Karma, plus foliage feeding of the same solution. Its been two days since i posted pics, and already need to put more up because they are already a lot bigger :]
I will do a very thorough log of everything i do in this thread/grow, with constant updates,pics, etc.

Cool bro I need to go get some pic's of my Killing Feilds seedlings! They are bushy lil plants right now. My first journal I posted pics all the time! LOL now I get lazy about it and do it once a week if that. I am foliar feeding mine also but the shit I bought doesn't make that much spray and it was $30 for three parts. And I think it will only make two gallons of spray so I will have to look into maybe a foliar spray with what I have already or maybe some cheap shit. The way I look at it is that foliar feeding with some cheaper stuff is better than not floliar feeding at all!

So far extremely impressed with the diesel. All for that matter! but obvious Diesel for the insane accelerated growth it has. The smell in my grow room is already amazing with these strains, and they are all only 15 days young. Very impressed with these genetics so far. I cant wait for the final product to see which prevails.
