That was a good read - pretty much what I have thought for a long time but articulated way better than I could have done.

I feel sorry for the people of the USA, there is seriously nothing that can be done to stop the decline of the once "Super Power" and changes will happen.

I spent 22 years in the USAF..first duty station was at March AFB in Moreno Valley CA...just curious as to what job you had to be such an expert on long-range stealth bombers ...
who said i was an expert on long range stealth? it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out if your flying a stealth bomber, its there to sneak in and bomb the fuck out of the target? is that a stretch to you? pretty much what they are made for.

i was a jet engine mechanic. so yes i know a little about the stealth although i never worked on one. i did however put in for a ts duty to work on the initial program but was turned down because my career field was short at the time. dover de, colorado springs were my only two permanent duty. did some tdy's though.

:roll: find that hard to believe doing 20 years...so you saying you never had a tour oversea...you stated you worked as a jet engine mechanic working on heavies ( you do mean C series jets )..Dover is AFMC base no stealth bombers there dude ..Nor in Colorado Springs which is a AFSC base..and what heavie did you work on in Colorado Springs anyway??? so let me get this straight you spent 20 years in the service as a jet engine mechanic never going over sea, only assigned to two duty stations in which one does not even have the aircraft you say you worked on...but my point is even if you say what you say.. one fact is that you never was assigned to a AFGSC base tells me you know ZERO about what you think you talking about. Now you might have been in the USAF, but I doubt you did 20 years...just don't add up...I mean really you did 20 years as a grease monkey ????hell after 12 you should have been behind a desk or at least not turning the wrench..and to stay at the same base for 17 years unheard of..!!! and I call you a flat out liar saying a Chief Master Sergent(e-9) went start to finish there( which one??? not to many get to that rank guy)...Do you realize how high a rank that is???? so I really don't know how you worked with "guys" who all made CMsgt..unbelievable BS......remember sometimes you might run into someone online that can really prove your bullshit so becareful inwhat you say you are..

o boy fog, you are barking up the wrong tree. came in 81. san antonio for six weeks basic. then off to chanute illinois for 8 weeks of jet engine training. boy is it fucking freezing in feb. anyway finished in feb 82 and on to dover. came in as e1, made master in 93, stayed there till 99. worked on c5a until 86 when we swapped out to c5b because of a wing crack problem. in that modification they also upgraded the engine to a b model duye to faulty engine mounts and some high tit problems in the high pressure turbine rotor

too many masters in my career field. there were 4 of us, i was low man on totem pole and lost. 2 guys that i competed against had 23 years on station and was being forced out because of high year. other guy had already put in retirement papers for 20. all at dover. third guy just arrived on station 10 years earlier. i got sent to colorado springs to pete field where i taught pme for 2.5 years and retired. i retired exactly 20 years and 1 day. finished with 2 msm, 3 acsm, i can send you my dd214 if you like?

now know it all, would you like to apologize?

we didnt start world war I, but we won it. we didnt start world war II, but we won it. we wont start ww III, but i sure want to win it. this makes me worry. we are in no way capable of taking on china right now. and to have JESUS at the helm....hopefully the real jesus has mercy on our country.
Uhh... actually nobody really started WWI from a U.S. perspective. That war was started for geopolitical, cultural and economic reasons.

Also, I saw from your later posts that you served in the Air Force. Congratulations. I have family who served in the AF and if I ever were to serve that's definitely where I'd go, but how can someone who is clever enough to have served in the Air Force even hypothesize about a war between the United States and China?

Let me spell it out for you:

They have nukes.

We have nukes.

Countries with nukes DON'T go to war. EVER. It has NEVER happened. Because when countries with nukes go to war, that's a good way to get EVERYBODY killed.

It doesn't matter to the United States how fast or stealthy Chinese bombers are, because... you know what? We got nukes. Thousands of 'em.

It doesn't matter to China how many F16s America can cram onto an Aircraft Carrier. Because... you know what? China's got nukes. Hundreds of 'em.

It's called Mutually Assured Destruction. (great acronym: M.A.D) You apparently served in the military since the Cold War, so you should know this. Countries with nukes don't go to war. Or, if they can't stand one another, they fight proxy wars against one another like Korea and Vietnam. But they never directly and unambiguously declare war against a rival nuclear power. It simply isn't done.

Conventional warfare is for bullying smaller nations that DON'T have nukes. That's what China wants its stealth bombers for. They could give a shit less about us. They're content to continue beating our asses economically with their centrally planned economy and sit back and watch our pathetic and useless anarcho-capitalist response-- to continue borrowing more money from them.

You see-- THEY'VE actually got it figured out. Militaries are irrelevant once you've got nukes and a space program. After that, it's all about economic power. And that's why they're growing at 9% a year while we sit here, shaking in our boots about some 1980s-era stealth bomber they've developed when they can destroy the freaking world and have been able to for decades.

actually 11.5 years. thats not that fast. tested 3 times for staff, 2 for tech and 1 for master. if you recall, senior and chief ar chosen by boards. i also told yyou that i had too many people in my career field (equals low promotion rate). i then took a job in colorado because thats where i wanted to go, not to get promoted. PME jobs very little to no promotion.

besides, being promoted really wasnt high on my list. i was divorced and being close to my daughters was my priority so i didnt take jobs that would have led to my promotions because i wanted to stay close to them, not travel, and not open myself up to possible pcs.

so there, now ya know ;-) anyway back to the subject......

Right on the money...Like I said before, it is a stealth bomber, not a death ray. They are the worlds second largest economy and you are shocked they have a stealth bomber??? Come on now, that is elementary shit. They just happen to let it be public. Russia has stealth tech, england, us, and probably a dozen more countries, mostly NATO. We just let it be known...China has a stealth bomber = sky is falling...

Actually the war for the U.S. was started by japan and Germany, when japan started bombing the United States their wasn't much else we could do...they bombed Pearl harbor and Washington remember....and Germany declared war on us. The war was allready on and we were supplying England but were trying to stay out of it....those were the things that started it from a U.S. perspective.

are you guys really this clueless? in case you havent noticed we have a bunch of nuts making nukes in iran....china ally. we have a little retarded family in korea shooting missiles over japan...china ally. the us sec of defense said we have nothing to worry about china, they wont even have stealth for another 20 years. a few days before he visits they pull this thing out to rub his/our noses in it. we have chinese sucking oil out of the gulf and other southern nations like its candy. mean while our gas is approaching 350 a gallon. there are riots around the world protesting rising oil/inflation/cutting off of govt money etc.

nothing to see here folks, lets move along....

are you guys named "trigg" by chance?
