I moved my 5 Skunky Papaya plants to the flowering room tonight, but I am keeping the lights on 18/6 until Friday the 30th. That way I can keep my cycle of harvesting on a weekend. I might add some bushmaster on Friday as well ,but I'm not sure yet, I'll have to think about it for the next two days and then decide. If I do it will only be 2 ml per gallon, one time, and then a good flush the following day. I'll let you know what i do.
Ok I have decided ..I will not be using Bushmaster. I do not want to risk turning any of the plants into a hermaphrodite,and the main purpose for this grow is to determine if the seeds are feminized or not.

I have just planted Nirvana Aurora Indica today, I am very interested in this strain. How is it taking to the nutes? I am using roots organics and roots organic potting mix for my startup. I will be switching the whole system to Stinkbuds areoponics systems as soon as I establish mothers from the strains I am starting in soil. Currently I have Hash plant from a friend in heavy topped veg with like 10x the clones I need from them and three strains from nirvana(Aurora Indica, Northern Lights, and AK-58) I am in love with Indicas because they are just such an experience to grow. I am subscribe, awesome grow!

Aurora Indica was the strain I used on my very first real grow, and it is still my favorite strain. I liked it so much I named my puppy Aurora. I use the fox farm line up of nutes and I mix it weekly, and Both strains are looking great so far.

Today is the first day of flowering! The lights are now set on 12 hours on and 12 hours off. I forgot to switch light bulbs last night from the MH to the HPS, so I will do that tonight. I wasn't going to but now I am thinking about transplanting from the 1 gallon pots there in, into a three gallon pot. I might go to the store today and try to find a 2 gallon. I was worried about the weight, but I just realized I can put them on the floor if I have to... So yea, I probably will transplant tonight into three gallon pots.

Happy new year everyone!

I transplanted all 3 of the Aurora Indica plants from 1 to 3 gallon pots. Soon I will be able to cut a clone off of each one and put it directly into the flower room, to determine which ones are female. The taller one was fimmed a few days after the other two, that is why it is so much taller. They look good so far.:peace:

I have been using the same 400 watt HPS light bulb for over a year now, and I have decided to replace it. I wanted to but the best bulb I could, so I was planing on buying the EYE hortilux super 400 watt hps light bulb. But when I got to the store the shop owner Talked me into getting the Sylvania Grolux 400 watt light bulb. It was about $20 less than the Hortilux bulb, and it has the same 58,000 lumens and it also has the same increased blue and red spectrum as the Hortilux. I just put it in tonight, I can't wait till morning to see how bright it is!:peace:

loving it! What was your last hps bulb?
My last bulb was a HTG supply brand 400 watt hps 55,000 lumens. It came free with the HTG supply ultamate 400 watt HPS & MH system, and I've done at least 4 grows with the HPS bulb. It needed replacing! When I looked in my flower room this morning it was much brighter than yesterday! LOL

On another note I transplanted the Skunky Papaya plants today from 1 gallon to 5 gallon tall pots. As always I used Black Gold Organic potting soil. So now I have 5 plants squeezed under 1 400 watt bulb! LOL I know even with the better bulb this is a tight squeeze! I plan on rotating them daily to try to make up for having to many plants. I'll edit and upload some pics later.

It has been 1 week since I switched the lights over to the flowering cycle. So Far this is what I can see;

Skunky Papaya;
Plant 1, Not 100% sure yet, but looks male to me.

Plant 2, ??????????

Plant 3, Looks female to me! *

Plant 4, Looks female to me!*

Plant5, ?????????????

I'll update when I know for sure.

Aurora Indica:
I cut a few clones off of each of the three mother plants last night. I want to wait a few days then I will put one of each clones into the flowering room, to determine which ones are female. Then I will pick out the best female and keep her for a mother plant.:leaf:

ok what happened was i had 2 feminized plants Super Skunk & Papaya.. The super skunk turned Hermie and pollinated the Papaya. The seeds I am using are off of the Papaya plant, that was pollinated by the Feminized Super Skunk plant. I think the skunk turned Hermie because of 2 things, Over fertilization and /or the use of Bushmaster & gravity . Hope I was clear enough! I'm in the process of Smoking a Fatty off of a feminized Full Moon Plant! Full MOon is some bomb shit! Nice fresh tasting after taste. I only wish I grew more than one plant..

Aurora Indica VS Full Moon........ Aurora Is #1, Full Moon #2, Papaya #3, My top 3 strains in order. I really love the flavor/taste, Effect, and YIELD from the Aurora. I grew Aurora Indica and full Moon the same exact way (Nutes, soil, Scrog, and Lights) except for the Full Moon was in a 5 gallon pot and the Aurora was in a 3 gallon pot. I ended up with 1 oz off of the Full Moon plant and 1/4 lb off of the Aurora! The color of the Aurora Bud was a nice bright or lime green when dried, The full moon was a darker green. I love them both but I have to go with Aurora for #1, so far! I hope that was what you were asking OGPanda.. lol
