fluros could lead to spindly growth id use your mh straight up i mean you have a auto so any lumen and any bit of growth missed out on is impossible to get back crank up the lumens!!

save the fluro for cloning.

Either way i placed a single Jock Horror in paper towl tonight as i want to hit it with the CS and get some pollen. When it gets closer to pollen production (assuming i can get it to that stage) may have to ask about whats the most efficient way to collect, store and then obviously apply to the females for later use.

Seems how its going to be a male (hopefully) i wont bother putting it under my lights as i just want his love juice (never thought i would be saying such a thing....)

When I have a few dried flowers in there, I close the bag and flick the crap out of it which bursts the male flowers open and the pollen settles in the bottom of the bag.

I use a bamboo BBQ skewer to apply the pollen to individual flowers over several days. The pistils turn brown when the flower has been pollinated so you just target the white pistils.

start the globe 600mm from the plant and move it closer if you have to the plant will be fine if you have a small fan blowing in the room how big is your mh? i start mine under a 400w (next time 250w) with excellent results

Seems simple enough ....I guess timing to get it JUST before will be the hard part. Also i tried the CS method with a 12volt train controller and got a VERY cloudy mess with some silver ppt ....trying as we speak but turned down to 5.3volts

had it going in my hall the first time which was "dark".....but now i put it in a seperate room NOONE uses with the blinds and curtains drawn

its odd though. I rinsed the jar with metho first....then rinsed with tap water...then with DW THREE times...then filled. So i dont think its other ions?

The voltage is also weird as i see ALOT of ppl using 24-36volts!!!!!

So its odd i got this lump of crap. If it happens this time round im going to assume the "pure" silver is not so pure.

i get my 1000w within 300mm of the plant so your 600w should be fine buddy if you can put your hand under the light for 10 seconds without feeling like your getting burnt then you know that its safe for your plant (its a theory i work on and havent got any burnt bush yet)

i thought i would give everyone a taste of where im at for the moment.

this first photo was when i had just finished setting up my pots and aerators (taken 8/11)

this is one of my girls just over one month later (11/12 minutes before i tried to destroy it with a globe and diffuser combo)

and how could i refuse showing a bit of root porn almost filled my bucket up one week on from then and the girls are drinking between 5-7 L per 'day'

thought seeing everyone else had made an effort i had better front up.
