so from what ive read hermies are all bad smoke and whatnot..is this true, or is the only downside that my harvest has seeds?

If I had a hermi, I wouldnt care.
I get bud, and seeds for next round.
Only thing bad is if you have other females.
Cause hermis polinate the others,
and id rather have more fire bud then
less fire and a bunch of seeds.
Know what I mean?
Or want me to explain? :D

theirs male and female marijuana plants.
But then theirs some pain in the ass ones,
that cant make up their mind,
called hermi's.
You can get a hermi if you stress the fuck out of your plant.
OR
If a male pollinates the female.
If you have a female plant,
you dont want any seeds.
Cause the energy used will go more towards the seeds so it can reproduce itself,
and you wont have as much potency as you normally would with a plant full with buds only.
 
well it wasnt stressed it was the lighting that got fucked up cause my side lighting isnt on a timer.

A herm will produce mostly herm offspring. The seeds, unless you want herm seeds, are undesirable by most growers.

I had some similar questions...so It will still be smoke-able, just have lots of seeds that will need to be chunked after harvest?
 
here the problem you will be facing with hermaphodite plants...one part of your plant will be in production for the thc that will be created for for the bud that is being produced...all that will stop when a pollen sack that has developed ripens enough to burst sending pollen all over ALL the plats in the vacinity...all the buds forming (even undeveloped buds) will now switch into seed production also passing on the traits of the hermaphodicallic qualities if you choose to use the seeds. There are several species that are hermaphodite but I cannot recommend you using them... If you are intentionally trying to grow for more seed stock there are other ways that are more satisfying..good luck!

I understand this, but should you just throw out your plant (if it's a single) and start over, or can you salvage some small green amongst the seed? If your only plant hermies in flowering, I mean...
 
yea i would lke to know so i think i should buy some seeds and hope for a male to breed for my seed stock what the best strain t o get
i got sour deisel blueberry and m-9(mycross) females i like any tips plz guys
