Thanks for the advice, ill listen to itYour welcome, but you may want to try to talk nicer as well. As the sayin goes, you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. I am sure those fellows would give great tips, but a lot of us are illegal too, so our first thought is yes, a cop fishing to bust someone. But you are legal, so you SHOULD be cool. This site is a cool place with a bunch of cool folks, I have seen serapis help folks, and make contributions to the site, as well as the unfortunate rowlman, who just had a 1000 watter explode and wreak havoc. And you know how americans are, we don't like to give shit away free. this is just some friendly advice, so take it for what you wish, and good luck
Some of us on the run, and we builded up para-noiya during the chase. LOL.Yeah dude sorry for freaking out but calling me a cop?

Now let's all rip a good bong hit and enjoy our Monday night, woohoo the days over
i would suggest reading all your papers, and everything on the website they give you. this is serious and not something you want to fuck up. one slip could end up with you being arrested and losing your card. for your own safety.im not exactly sure i seen anywhere in the law where it said a patient needed to be 21 to grow plants. a patient is not a caregiver, though a caregiver can be a patient, and a patient can be a caregiver. imo they are two very distinct personas in the law.
4. Protections for the Medical Use of Marihuana.
Sec. 4. (a) A qualifying patient who has been issued and possesses a registry identification card shall not be subject to arrest, prosecution, or penalty in any manner, or denied any right or privilege, including but not limited to civil penalty or disciplinary action by a business or occupational or professional licensing board or bureau, for the medical use of marihuana in accordance with this act, provided that the qualifying patient possesses an amount of marihuana that does not exceed 2.5 ounces of usable marihuana, and, if the qualifying patient has not specified that a primary caregiver will be allowed under state law to cultivate marihuana for the qualifying patient, 12 marihuana plants kept in an enclosed, locked facility. Any incidental amount of seeds, stalks, and unusable roots shall also be allowed under state law and shall not be included in this amount.
if someone can show me where it said a patient has to be 21 to grow plants please let me know, cause all i read is that a patient can grow plants if they have not specified a caregiver...
no thats not usually how it works, however a caregiver and patient could do it that way if they would like. all a caregiver is, is basically a professional gardener. under michigan state law they have the authority to possess and grow 12 plants per patient, and carry 2.5 ounces of usable marijuana per patient. that can assist with marijuana use also such as preparing edibles, or preparing for a smoke/vaporizing session. caregivers have no authority to use themselves unless they're also a patient. caregivers can also be reimbursed for any costs such as equipment or selling the marijuana they grow for the patient. usually patients and caregivers have a contract whether it be verbal or written on paper.wait, a caregiver? You need someone to prepare your meals and household activities as well as take care of them?
Thats what I was told, you would actually need to actually live with your caregiver...
very good point, i cant see anywhere on the site or even my paperwork now that you mention it. another friend of mine who has a card said they told him he couldnt grow his own until he was 21. what they might mean is if your a patient that grows your own then you may be considered a caregiver for youself meaning you would need to be 21. i cant really say for sure but im almost positive my friend said they told him he cant grow his own. if you really want to make sure you could ask local law enforcement or your prosecutor. i dont know about other states but michigan has a huge grey area as far as the law goes. be safe!Sorry, but that doesn't specify the age to grow if your a patient, only the age to be a caregiver. I would think if you are old enough to be a patient without consent, then you should be able to grow too.
