How can you have a comp. on who can grow the best plant and not take things like that into consideration...?

I see what you're saying cannon. For instance, I haven't fed the 60DW in like 2 weeks, like i'm supposed to. So her leaves are starting to yellow, curl, and get crispy. That doesn't mean I don't know how to feed her, I just havent recently. I think the look of the bud should be more important than the leaves.

Aren't you near harvest? your conditions are little different to be fair, i.e. party cup...

If someone is halfway through flowering and their plant looks like shit, shouldn't that be counted in the evaluation process? I think so. The bud obviously counts, but so does the overall health of the plant. If you didn't kill your plant by mistake, and you end with nice nugs then you have nothing to worry about...

Give me a break guys, I've had a long shitty day... If no one cares about the health of their plant as part of the evaluation, whatever. There's only a few of us, so really it does not matter to me. It's hard to give much of a shit at this point... Sorry for being brash guys, but the voters will vote for whatever plant they want according to whatever set of rules they choose, I just felt pictures of the whole plant would make voting easier. my bad.

I don't really know what the big deal is. Its all relative really, whether or not someone finishes before someone else really has no bearing. I mean its not like you guys are going to be able to judge anyone's plant until everyone finishes. So all finishing pics should show yellowing leaves and such, since that's the nature of the plant as it winds down. I have no problem posting up pics of my whole plant, imperfections and all right before cutting and then some more pics of the nugs. Remember guys, this is for fun. Its not like we're in the cannabis cup or anything.

I want to finish man no doubt about it. I surely didn't mean to sound harsh, but peeps are getting upset over things that in the long really don't matter. The main thing is that we are going to have some nice bud to smoke and that is a good thing.

So we're getting to the business end of this, I'd like for everyone to add their grow details (light, soil mix, etc) to the next update please. Also, get as many pictures of your whole plant so we can have a comprehensive look at the plant, leaves, full top view, stuff like that... mainly for evaluation purposes so we can all see how healthy the plants we are voting on are. Thanks!

And it's not the be all that ends all (I don't know if that's where the confusion started?). Napa, you've basically always taken pictures of your whole plant, but yeah nevermind. and don't get me wrong, I'm glad you guys have given me your feedback, it's appreciated, and sorry if I took it the wrong way... like I said, I had a shit day but a blunt and some gardening always cures that. I just want to finish this thing out, and enjoy what's left... I think it's safe to say after all the shit, from here on out it can only get better, right...?

Those are good ideas, and yeah we most likely won't get the subforum anytime soon. Maybe you should start a thread where we can show off our girls? This thread won't fail, and I really have no clue what it will become...

But, I've probably got 2 to 4 weeks to go. I'm not leaning on the 2 weeks and while I'm preppin' I'm working on 3 weeks to cut minimum.
At a point I'll be shocking and attempt to put her into a high regenerative mode (death wish).
After, I'll be trying a different dry/ cure that a old timer told us about at a wedding about a month ago that got me to thinking.

Harvest pics !. Here's my tiny 60DW. It's surely dank. As soon as I started cutting she just exploded with this smell, it reminded me of fruity pebbles. She's SOOO resinous. I got a nice little hash ball off my scissors. lit that bitch on fire and was soon sky high lol. Anyway, here she is.

Soil: Sunshine Mix organic soil
Nutrients: Bloom Blood and Cal+Mag pro from Greenleaf Nutrients
Lighting: 150W HPS 20/4
Pot: 16 oz party cup
Water: Tap filtered through Brita pitcher

No I don't have to, I'm using that as my baseline time. I'm expecting a little microscope any day now, then I'll be able to actually look at the trichs. Why do you ask?

I was just thinking, your hairs don't seem orange yet, it might take more than 2 weeks to finish up. The trichs don't start turning until after the hairs do and a bit after at that. I have yet to grow a plant to anything more than just a few amber trichs. Maybe mine are just slow, though. I dunno.

Hmmmm, interesting.
At the risk of sounding stupid (first AF), is this something to do with the plant just will not live long enough to mature more?
I honestly never gave it a thought. That would suck if you can't pick when to harvest according to trichs because the plant dies on it's own too soon. (Is that right?)

Napa, I have just under 50% orange hairs by my judgment. I'm also thinking that since this is a white phenotype that I may never see mostly orange hairs, but I could be wrong as this is my first White Dwarf. In the pics I've seen of it though they've been fairly white.

Nutes: When used I've gone with BC Grow, BC Bloom, BC Boost, Thrive Alive B-1 (Green/red) MagiCal, and Sugar Daddy. I have just started using flowering nutes last feeding and will use a MagiCal + Sugar Daddy mix in the last week for the first three days. Then flush and harvest.
