This is my first grow. Vanilla Kush, White Rhino, Magic Bud, White Skunk, Skunk #1, and Hawaiian Snow.

Feel free to leave some tips but don't be an ass, it's my first grow.

Subb'd to your grow.

I am really interested to watch your Magic Bud as I have had nothing but trouble with my 3 attempts ... although the third (current plant) is growing OK, just a little deformed ... and a bit light greenish, but hey - it's better than the first two attempts.

... and just a tip, watch out for those pots as they dry out very quickly.

I'm gonna be moving up to 600w MH for veg, I got a switchable ballast for HPS in flower. I have 3 gallon pots for the final transplant and I'm using pro mix organic but plan on adding worm castings, perlite, and azomite to the mix for when I transplant. You think 3 gal is enough and can you even transplant when they are in a pot that big already? As for cropping or lst I dunno what should I do? What is the thing with the netting, maybe I ought to get one of them? Oh and The tent is 4'x4' and a height of 7'8", How long do you guys think I can veg in this space, or is it too early to tell?

and grumpy you aint shitting about them peat pots drying out fast. I almost drowned em I thought and the next day the ones with the fan on em were bone dry.

There are 6. 4 under one light, 2 under the other, I just took two different pics of the plate with 4. See I had the 6 under incandescent for germination in a diamond shape.

could have a nice selection by the end there! only concern is veg/flower times and height having many different varieties in one room, if some get bigger than others u might have to do a bit of bending and tying!

I think a lot of them were in the same flowering time/height category on worlwideseeds, definatley not Hawaiian ice though, i'm a lil worried bought that one. I gonna be needing tips and shit on all the tying and shit cause I'm new to all that business. Should I do a scrog, that's the net thing right?

scrogs work well but take a lot of time to train, perfect if your not flowering until after christmas. Safe way for nice uniform height buds. I started one 8 weeks ago and have ended up taking the racking out as i hav no height issues and i want some new year bud;) looking at the space you got, i reckon go for it!

lol oh I know that. To germ I used incandescent for the extra heat, it didn't feel like the sun was warming the ground with the cfls. Seemed to work good too, they all popped after 3 days, now i'm using a 15 and 23w cfl.
The government should make it illegal to make them old fashioned light bulbs. The serve no purpose. saved a lot on the light bill after changing them all too.

You can't buy an incandescent bulb in Australia - I presume they have been banned here because shops don't stop selling stuff just because they want to be green :-)

I know the don't need light but I heard the heat from the bulb will help germinate. Anyone think it would be wise to just keep cropping the tall palnts instead of scrog? Scrog seems too complicated for my first grow, I dunno bout all that.

i wouldnt top that much to be honest, puts a lot of stress on the plant and your yeild will suffer i think.

top once maybe twice....if you train them when there young try LST-low stress training.

Its simple and solves all height problems...im sub'd you grow is lookin good

Thanks I'll LST and maybe just crop the tallest once or twice and not the other ones to have the least shock possible, and I'm going to be putting them in bigger peat pots before the 3 gal pots, so I'll have no transplant shock.
