haha im all for sharing the love around, :joint:
if the pollen was to get intercepted they wouldn't have a clue as to what it is lol they probably will think its coke or something...
... and I don't think that there is any law against possession of pollen, and it would take some expensive lab time to identify it.

HEY ALL! just thought id introduce myself here, im a new sa grower, doing it all about the best quality and variety in a small (at first) bubbleponic medical grow, nothing but the best to produce the best for medicinal and social reasons, set up will be complete within the month and some exotic seeds will be here in 6... so im after maybe some local sources or help to get me started for the first grow round, will be greatly appreciated and the favour returned when my killer gets here... i plan on stabilising 10 new strains to s.a(as far as i know) and sharing the love around, i only waht it personally on a small scale (1 oz per plant cobb style) concentrating on pure quality but ive got no problem forcing a hermie for seeds to send if you want some interstate or clone one out to ppl locally once i know their legit lol.
im also a bit of a tech head who's been doing A LOT of study into weed science and l.e.d tech and i might have a thread to interest all you local guys-

https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/383105-attention-l-e-d-growers.html

if this works out, and im pretty dam certain it will (got some hardcore uni and defence help here- dont ask!! lol) ill be willing to make these and sell them at pretty close to my cost might be worth checking out!"
peace out all, let me know if anyone can give me a hand?

some things like blz bud, the seven dwarves range, medusa, vanilla kush, wild thailand, wreckage, super lemon haze, chemdog, trainwreck, twista 108 just to name a few and in enough quantity to stabilize a female of the best 1 or 2 phenotypes of the strains to then turn a clone hermie and catalog the seeds aswell as the complete grow log of my best results for that strain to share with others and so i can have a variety of fantastic strong strains on call whenever i want :P
but i really want some good strains or even just one would be fantastic for no for me to use on my first grow to play with and get some good results before they get here, anything that will help after my reconstructive op and pops with his cancer til i get the medicinal strains later...

Checked on all my babies today my 2 KC42's are going to be massive 4 main stems and ~ a foot and a bit tall and bushy as hell, my skunk special have their 4th node popping up, my KC36 have the 6th and my Short ryder's, as far as I can tell did auto, and have pollinated each other, the fem has some nice looking seeds coming along probably ~40 it is only 4 inches high having been stunted due to some lack of care on my behalf and being condemned to a tiny pot for most of it's like ~200mls.

well, I'm 3/4 pissed and haven't had a smoke for 5 years ... and the waiting is driving me insane.
I can't see me having any well cured bud until mid-January at the earliest ... fuck, fuck and yet another fuck
... oh, I just sprayed Colloidal Silver over (and under) every leaf and bud site on the designated Red Dragon clone and put him (her ... whatever) under the 12/12 Kessil lighting, so the experiment continues.

I have a bullshit Himalayan Gold plant budding in my back garden, maybe I should tax a little ... nah, easier to just have another Glenfiddich.

I know this is off topic but I am interested in living in aussie land and I was wondering some things.. I know austrailia and canada have a good relationship with each other and I've heard it is very easy for a canadian to get a 1 year holiday work visa, is this true? How hard would it be to get a job there? is rent expensive how is food? and how much for weed?

Thanks hope to hear some good replies.

A. Not worth it.
B. Messes up the nutrients. No good for hydro.
C. Minimum 180L/min for those 10L buckets. I use one "AQUA ONE AIR PUMP 7500 360L/H DUAL OUTLET" per pot.
The AQUA ONE WATER PUMP 102 MAXI 500L/H is good value and it doesn't fuck out the first time you run it dry.
The 50mm ball air-stones are the best I've used so far. They are about $4 each but definitely worth it. Check out my new R/DWC journal, I might actually finish it this time.

Visa= Donno
Job= Depends what field, how qualified you are, how long is a peice of string?
Rent= East coast or west coast? Sydney, melbourne, etc (East) are the expensive places i beleive but even then you have massive flucuations. Sydney has the northern beaches which are expensive, but then also has out west closer to the mountains where it gets alot cheaper.
Food= diet of maccas is cheap, dinning on fine cousine every night expensive. Once again it really depends on what your after.
Weed= i heard our weed is pretty expensive in comparison to other countries. That said clearly this thread shows its pretty easy to grow one or two plants anyway :)

a) yer i was looking around and that pump seems shyt.
b) hmmm wonder howd it go for my duck pond as it gets green in a week but adding chlorine and shit isnt doable
c) http://cgi.ebay.com.au/AQUA-ONE-AIR-PUMP-12000-800L-H-QUAD-OUTLET-CONTROL-DIAL-/220441330799?pt=AU_Seed_Starting_Hydroponics&hash=item335353c46f << was thinking this for my air as it allows for 4 pots on thier own line :)
OR
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/AQUA-ONE-AIR-PUMP-7500-360L-H-DUAL-OUTLET-HYDROPONICS-/120438966260?pt=AU_Seed_Starting_Hydroponics&hash=item1c0ab8c7f4 <<would its cheaper younger brother be ok? I would run a "t" so each outlet would need to power two pots.

As for water http://cgi.ebay.com.au/AQUA-ONE-WATER-PUMP-102-MAXI-500L-H-HYDROPONIC-/400168555366?pt=AU_Seed_Starting_Hydroponics&hash=item5d2be79366 <<what you suggested so i guess it must be ok :D Ill run a t on this aswell with taps so i can vary the flow and also have a drain. Ie. If flow is too much ill turn the tap slightly closed and open up the drain (that will just run back into the res) so that the flow to the pots will be lowered but it wont build up pressure and fuck the prop :)

One thing i have wondered though. Seems how the pumps are only pushing water and then "gravity" is returning it to the res......if the res is quite full how does this work as wont the pressure placed by the water already in the res create high impedance? OR have i cocked up my understanding here? The way i see it is you pump from the res through 13mm into the pots at the top and then gravity pulls it from the bottom back into the res through 25mm hose?

yeah dude, double the size of your inlet is where you should start your outlet at, test it dry of course before you finalise assembly and if needed increase size/double outlets? ive found a lot of things can affect this so dont take someone elses exact setup, throw it together and expect it to work exactly the same. back a while ago, i built two cabs exactly yhe same for two friends, full set up identical both used same strains, same mothers, same nutes, timing cyles EVERYTHING and by the time we got through changing things on both as issues arose they couldnt have been more different, still produced almost identical results though, made me feel pretty good lol

rusty crutch is right i spent a fair bit on a couple of hydor air pumps (submersible) one stuffed up straight away so had to use a dodgy $15 air pump with a ball airstone and the root system with the ball airstone is much superior than the hydor one (at this stage both plants same height, but its early days) so cut a long story short dont follow my lead and try and reinvent the wheel a normal airpump will work but the better the litre per minute the better the root zone but if you dont clean your airstone regularly its not worth shit.

Pissed off right now my I took pictures of my 3 kc 42's and their holes after I lugged the last 7 25-40kg bags of soil to my spot and got home and realised I don't have a cable, ah well I'll have to post them up tomorrow, the level of growth between today and yesterday (mostly overcast) is a pleasant suprise, all up about 12 shoot grew an inch. growth like this in overcast conditions makes me happy, when they feel the wrath of the full summer sun and I keep them well water'd they are going to explode I would fathom a guess at this early stage (4.5 months to go) I would get about an 3-5 ounces off each plant if they began flowering now. ( as they are roughly 2-3 times bigger than my winter plants who yield about 20 grams each.

Anyone on here grown Skunk Special out doors or any KC strains, all my later sprouted seedlings not having to contend with short daylight hours and going into flower inadvertantly look as though they might overtake the aforementioned strains. I am not looking forward to that possibility another 100 or so bags of soil and 16 more 1mx1m holes is a hectic workload, oh well I finished uni yesterday and I am going to put more focus into this than I did study :) .

Quick question, I need a fan preferably 80mm but up to 100mm and preferably one for a grow cabinet of 160cm2. One that has enough guts to both exhaust and draw fresh air in at the the same time and do so ~2 times per minute and funnel the air along 1-1.5m's of ducting in the form of 100mm poly. Budget is about 50 I got one for my old grow room 1.2mx1.2mx1.8m for ~$80 so I figure one shouldn't be to expensive or alternatively 2 one for intake and one for exhaust.
