oh ok. i have a 35 gall hexagon fish tank with. i just got some cheap fish in theri that way if they die it was not a waste of cash. i got a pleco, black mollies, neon tetras, pristella tetras, gold long finned danios, and then i got some crawdads in theri as well. i had 4 crawdads but their is only one home for them and they are territorial and the biggest one killed the lil guys.

what do those big fish eat. smaller fish?

Lots of potential in a few years.
This little guy tried to eat a 10 oz Butterfly jig. We find some pretty big fish inside the larger ones, hell they even eat their own young. Some of the commercial salmon fishermen tell of seeing 150 lb or better fish ripping through the kelp forest after 12 lb salmon.

Oh, and anybody like Robalo aka, Snook?

thanks GWN, and how do you tell it is a large or small mouth i always go off of the size of the mouth, like if the mouth opens more then the fish is thick then it is a large mouth if not then a small, ive caught bass this size that had much larger mouths then this one. i have only been bass fishing for about a year now though so i am not really sure how to tell exactly.
can you fill me in on how to

Coloration is different - Smallies are sometimes called "Bronze back".
Also the Smallmouth has bigger "Shoulders" than a Largemouth for their size.

caught another bass today at the same place as the other day, it was about the same size, i caught it on a rapalas shad. it seems all the bass in this small pond are the same size, i was talking to a few people theri and they said they have caught 5 pounders out of the pond before, they also say theri is land locked steal head in theri, but i do not believe that part cuz the only way they could have got in theri is if the river flooded very high and it hasn't been that high in over 20 years. i was also told bass dont bite near as much or none at all in the winter does any one know if this is true?

yes i do love to fish, just started bass fishing not to long ago. i dont think i have caught any small mouths yet, do they fight different or something, i would think they were very similar besides the mouth size and markings

Another largemouth - very healthy fish, nice & chunky.
They will fall off the bite when the water temprature hits somewhere around 50 deg F, with the larger fish quitting first.
Looks like you're pretty warm where you are right now so they could keep eating for some time yet.
And Smallies are said to be among (if not THE) hardest fighting freshwater fish in North America.

I think most of my fishing is done for this year, the weather just gets worse from here on out. Tonite seas are 15' and the wind is gusting to 70kt.
