Mite-rid worked great. I used 1tsp per gallon, smells like vicks vapor rub. Sprayed them with the stuff too. They don't seem to even care.. And no more gnats....for now..I got them fuckers tooo. Damn roots organics soil same damn problem here soon as i up potted to 1 gallon them fuckers started showing up.
Curious to see what kills them for you . I don't know what I,m gonna do.
Problem we had with this soil is there was actual fungus fly larva in the soil, so no matter how many times you sprayed them, they'd keep coming back because they'd come from the soil. My buddy said in his night cycle he green lit the room checked his stalks and there were fucking worms crawling up his plants.. Some nasty shit!! I think I got em though... MITE RID, everyone should have some!neem oil would work good for you because your plants are small eought to dip and its a natural product. Ive herd nothing but good things about it.
Yeah man it whistles, moves air though. The negative pressure I think you were telling me about totally works. Even without that fan blowing in, the pressure of my 6" sucking the air out the small space created that vent to blow air at a good solid rate, and now with the fan it does awesome. The panda paper is definitely being sucked in, I think I could use another one these little fans. I really think a straight up inline fan even 4" would be overkill and really fucking loud working with the 6" inline as well.. I like to sleep at night.. We'll see how everything works, I plan to flower 3 next week sometime..When you turn that fan on if its too loud, you can wrap it in old blankets or towels to quiet it down some. I had to do it to mine. It sounded like a airplane was in the bedroom, lol.
I guess in the long run saving money on medicine is good. I don't ever have any intention ever to sell my harvests...yep........money goes quick. but once everything is set up. Its a money printing machine
I know... its quite in here. Doc??sorry man, i dont know shit about soil.
that's a good thing. they are happy and just reaching towards the sky. happy plantsJust about 2 weeks old. They are looking great, the leaves are pointing straight up, this is good right? Or are they requesting for more light??
not sure if ladybugs eat gnats. but it's the gnat larvae in the soil that will do the damage. other than keeping the top layer of soil as dry as possible,*gnats like the moist soil* the only other thing would be too cover the soil. if you dont wanna use sand, make cardboard cutouts, or anything you can think of, to cover the pots. you can take care of the adult gnats by using insecticidal soaps, neem oil, etc, etc.Gnats are back, mite rid worked for 48 hours, on to something new.... do lady bugs eat gnats? I need to treat my soil, they're coming up from it.. I really really prefer not to put sand ontop my soil, I do know its a all else fails option for me...
Not sure I follow...?If the leaves are opening up towards the light, they want more light. When they have all they need and want to kind of 'cool off' from the light, they put their leaves straight up, in a manner more to block the light from hitting the full tops of the leaves.
Thanks Doc..the leaves are fine, they do that too outdoors in the sun. take a look at the pictures, they are fine
