Plants start flowering in early/mid August. 12/12 doesn't mean anything outdoors. My plants will be almost done by the end of September when true 12/12 hits. Also, there's no point in cloning autoflowers. They still bud at the same time the mothers do. You can't keep them in a vegetative state. Auto-flowers are kind of like novelty weed in my opinion. Sure, some produce fantastic smoke, but it's nothing that a regular strain couldn't do. Plus why pay $50 for 6 auto flowers when you could pay $100 for ten regular beans and in theory never have to buy another seed again. If auto-flowers are your bag, don't mind me saying this. I'm just trying to steer you in the direction of big plants that consistently produce year after year without the hassle of sprouting beans everytime. Good luck, bro. I wish you success in whichever you choose.
They do have there place though and you can easily breed seeds, I have a huge spring/summer period (7 months) great for monsters but in the meantime I need some choof, thats where a few auto's come in handy done in 3 months and can be planted during winter (it is really mild where I live) so I have a perpetual grow and then some monsters as well wth a tonne for me to offload.

After posting that above I had an epiphany and thought it would be a great idea to design a stake that screwed to a soda pop bottle to water plants while one was away.
You can use them on 20 oz and 2 liter bottles.
You are fortunate to be able to do that - my girls need 6 litres of water a day each.

the only light and heat plants get in ireland comes from a HID
and we pay twice if not triple what you pay for electricity.

I have been experamenting on letting the sativa strain go 3 to 4 days with out water once a month and i can be totally honest with you it hurt my heart to see the leaves drooping dying but when i waterd them and let them sit for about 3 to 4 hours they poped right back up. A smile came to my face and i learned that it grew alot faster by causeing that ammount of stress is amazing... Cannabis rules !

If they bounce back up that's fine, but whenever the leaves droop from not enough water, they are very close on the edge.

The plant could die within 24 hours of leaves drooping from dehydration, or most of the leaves would dry out.
Happened to me once.

Oh wait this is the outdoor section. I grow in pots so in the ground they could probably go for longer but same thing would happen eventually if they get dehydrated.

I have my plants in pots in the ground so I can control what the plants are eating, and also so i can keep the pots cooler cause the sun out here heats up the ground pretty quick. I think they are fine now, they still look green and the buds still smell dank as hell so we will see how it tastes when I am done.

Does the stress cause more crystals due to the fact that the plant uses trichomes as a sun blocker? anyone have insight on that note

Stress is bad, but I think plants with trichomes are less prone to heat-stress for some reason. I have several plants out and the ones that haven't budded yet need to be watered more often because they droop a lot.

You look fine. I went on vacation for a week over July 4th. 6 days all 90°+ even 2 days 100°+. I watered the hell out of my gals before I left. When I got back the soil was dry and they drooped a little. But here they are now 2 months later 6 & 7 footers!

Just wondering why you went with pots outdoors? Just dig up a bigger patch of dirt and add your soil to the spots where you plant. I would think letting the roots go crazy in open soil would be better than a pot.

incase i had to pull them up out of the ground if i was to be caught, I wanted it to be easy to pull them and run them to a different hiding spot given someone saw them or what not. I would have much rather grown in the ground but my soil in the ground sucks and its very hard packed so it was a bitch to get those pots in let alone digging a big hole for them.

I grow somewhere where i can get caught and i dont wanna have that happen so that was my solution.

lol i love cali but i hate how it jumps from hot to cold at the worst possible times is all.
