My Outdoor Medicine :) 5 strains

Haha you do have quite the cocktail going on. I just had some leftover from my indoor batch that I wanted to try outdoor. I was thinking about it though, and what do you think about using the SP earlier in bloom around week 3, 4 and 5? Cuz at week 6 it has the plant pushing new sets of calyxes and pistils so maybe itd make them bulk out even faster if you used it earlier in bloom. just high and had the wheels turnin :eyesmoke:
I would wait until week 5 because it demands a lot from the plant and is very in high in pk. If it is an 8 week strain maybe 4,5,6 and then flush, but if it is a 10 week then 5,6,7 IMO. I really am just shooting from the hip, because I have never used it outside.
I actually just got an e-mail back from h&g tonight about the rising ph. I had sent them a question about my hydro set-up. The shooting powder raises the ph which you are not supposed to adjust back down because the plants absorb pk better at higher ph levels. So I learned something;) So you could probably send them an e-mail and ask them directly. They got back to me in 2 hours. Here is the website, just go to 'contact us' under 'more info' tab. http://www.house-garden.com.au/feed_charts_guidelines.php

yes. My bd is a cross though, but they have both been flowering since early early July. I am in nor cal. If you recall all of mt plants had to re-veg so the mango never really did come completely out of flower, she was in limbo between veg and flower since she went outside.

Here are some pics of the trichs on the mango and bd, looks like the mango should be ready in another 10 days.

AMAZING!! What kind of camera do you use for those closeups? They are quite impressive, good work :)
I appreciate the compliment. I use a pentax 7.1 instant camera that is a few years old. It has a macro setting that lets me take close ups and then I just crop and enlarge the picture. I have a much better digital slr, but it I usually just use the little instant camera. I like to takes pics like the above ones to check the trichs. It is easier than using my 100x active eye. The active eye works great if i take a bud off and can put it on a flat surface, but not so good while they are still on the plant.
Thanks again for the props.

thanks for that link and I'll definitely shoot them an email. I really wanted to know if anyone had tried using it in the earlier weeks. it'd be cool to do an experiment with 3 or 4 different plants using the SP at different stages with each plant and then compare end results. I think Im going to start using some in the next week or two.

that mango looks delicious though :weed:

I can't wait to see the finished yield bro... great job so far. Make me want to grow outdoors, damn. Too many choppers over here though=/

yeah both of those are stacking pretty darn good....understatement of the century....looks amazing brother

I got 4 BD's total outside with all the others, a couple of them are gonna be over 2lbs which is bigger than I expected for the strain outdoors, although Ive heard it has some crazy potential indoors according to a few ppl at one of the dispensaries. I tried to actually take some pictures of the outdoor today but I couldnt figure out how to control the glare but Im gonna have my first pic's up here soon, cause I think some people may think Im completely full of it, so I got to show these ladies to everyone, 6-8ft tall but probably 60sq ft bushes if not bigger, my first year running the dream...biggest plants are the bubba kush...biggest yielder will probably be one of two big buds, which actually looks like its gonna be alot better quality than I expected...Im just so excited right now cause Ive only been flowering for 3wks or so, having some big baby colas make the garden look so damn cool, never gets old ya know...peace out brotha!!!

I will know the mango yeild shortly. Yea, I have had the chopper stop over my house and take pictures of my 5 plants. So lame, but I guess they document every garden they can find, but I am all legal and shit so I am not worried.

I am lucky to have the optimal climate for weed for sure.

I know what you mean man, I have a few people I can't get rep to either sometimes. I go on tep binges :)

So I chopeed the Mango today. It took three of us about 10 hours to knock the trimming out. The buds look good, I didn't trim up the pocorn , so I will have a nice batch of hash trim. It is hard to tell what the yeild will be, but I am guessing somewhere between 1-1/2 to 2 pounds.

Well Im not sure Ive ever had the pleasure of smoking the mango, not sure of type of genetics, but it sure does look good and potent. I personally really like that blue dream alot, whether its indoors or outdoors, its just great smoke. Ive seeing alot of people saying that blue dream is an indica dominant plant and I know my plants and others are much more sativa looking, the high is very mixed in my opinion but wondering what you thought. This was my first year with the dream outdoors, but dream, bubba kush and strawberry cough are my favorite outdoor strains, best outdoor I saw last year was a friends cut of blue dream, was absolute fire which was got me started on my dream ride. Nice to hear about the harvest starting, Ive got a few autos that I got for free that should be ready this weekend so that will be nice. Weird part was they've been outside from day1 and all 3 are different but there really big for autos, all between 3.5-4.5ft tall, probably couple zips per, much more than I expected from some newly developed autos. Let us know how that mango smokes, Im already jealous cause it sure did look good and I love fruity tasting herb. Peace man, your raiders are actually gonna be pretty good this year, although my niners beat that ass this preseason, lol, I love to razz my brother in law who is also huge raiders fan. Take care man, peace!

I always thought the BD was sativa dominant, nut the bd I have is heavy indica fow sure, I would say 80/20 if I had to guess. I am excited to taste the outdoor mango myself. It looks good. I did have a small lower branch of the bd break off last week and I dried it up. It tasetes a bit harsh because it hadn't been flushed yet. I am a bit spoiled with the indoor though, so outdoor always seems a bit harsh to me.
Oh and your niners did give us our only pre-season loss against our 3rd sting team. We were winning until we benched our starters. Don't get me wrong, the niners look good this year, especially on defense, but watch out for the silver and black.

Yeah just with the passing of Jamarcus you guys will really start contending in the division, which basically you just need to take down the chargers, which there gonna be missing some key players (vincent jackson, marcus mcneil) for quite awhile, possibly the enitire season if both sides dont decide on extensions, so losing you top WR and LT will have some signifigant effects on their offense, just adding to your chance of getting back into it. The whole rookie pay scales is way out of control these days, I mean espcially if you miss on those #1picks at QB like Jamarcus or maybe my own Alex Smith, it sets a franchise back a good 4years to recover. Right now Im just hoping we have football next year, theres a decent chance of being a lockout if the owners and union cant iron out some problems. Seems like most people these days only want indoor, I really dont care where its grown as long as it tastes good, Im all about taste when it comes to weed. Speaking of which your vendor buddy you used to talk about doesnt possibly have "the black", I believe you were the one who first told me about it. Anyways take care, have a good weekend, good luck to you and your Raiders...Peace!

I hear ya on the ridiculous salaries. I am sure Jackson is going to want something close to the 54 million that Austin just got in Dallas.
As for 'the black' , yes I believe my vendor friends still have the strain.

you know of any collectives that he supplies, I think I remember you saying he mainly dealt with bay area clubs is that right or are there others closer to the Chico kinda area? Not that big a deal but I would like to give that black a run, Ive heard some good things about it. I just noticed that attitude is starting to carry cali connection gear, only the tahoe og right now but if they start getting the rest of their gear Im gonna be stoked, been wanting to try the corleone kush, chemvalley kush and some other pre98 bubba and different crosses, some good genetics for sure.

I am not sure what dispensaries they do supply, but they live outside of Chico, so they may supply some local collectives. I can find out next time I talk to them.
